  1. I was able to collect some photos from the SAU nationals Ive been to. wakefield 2012 Mallala 2013 At one stage I did have graphics all over the r33, had them on there for about 2years, Im always thinking ideas to put some graphics on it in the future too, Im not too worried about whats in or whats popular, just with my graphic design past I cant help myself but want to do something that makes me enjoy looking at it...
  2. the last major outing was to SAU nationals in Adelaide, trackday, hillclimb and car show... got some photos from the car show and hill climb but obviously the trackday I was having too much fun to think of photos... Matt (Deka) warming up the tyres for hillclimb run and I came home with a prize from the car show at the Nationals... I was pretty surprised
  3. Replace the std series 2 front lip that was on there with a new fibreglass one, fitted it up and prepped the front bar got a local panel beater to spray and clear coat it for me, along with that I sanded back my carbon fibre foglight surrounds and got them clear coated at the same time...
  4. Ive done some work on the brakes, braided lines, A1RM pads, motul rbf fluid, cut off the stone guards on the front brakes with RDA slotted rotors, no brakes fade whatsoever on last track day at Mallala, which is a definite improvement from other trackdays where I had brake fade and boiling fluid, cutting the stone guards off did have a good impact. I replaced most of the engine bay bolts with new stainless ones, supplied by a forum member who was putting together bolt kits for the r33 to sell online, since I helped him out with sizing and number of bolts he was nice enough to give me the set for free, totally happy with that... I have new injectors and fuel rail to go in for a new E85 tune, 840cc siemens injectors
  5. I have here a full set of nissan r33 series 2 gtst coilpacks, only replaced due to upgrade to splitfires when I upgraded turbo, all working fine, no repairs or tape used on these. pickup central coast, $100
  6. After following many build threads, thought I may put up my own so I can keep track of how far I go and also to perhaps have advice and suggestions from other enthusiasts along the way. r33 gtst 1996 series 2, bought it mainly stock ages ago... came with a PFC, exhaust and pod, I thought it was awesome at the time. then the mod bug bit me, and I constantly searched for info and parts. - did a bilstein upright and king spring suspension whiteline sways and bushes. - I found a HKS2835 ProS turbo new for sale cheap, and the turbo change started, added PFC boost control, new stainless front pipe ceramic wrapped, ceramic coated the exhaust housing, sard 500cc injectors, arc airbox, z32 afm, found a RIPS intake manifold and ARC type catch can with braided lines. tomei brake stopper, HKS hard intake pipe - changed the rb25 cam covers to rb26 ones and fitted a 26 cam belt cover and baking plate later on - I then found I liked carbon fibre, added craft square mirrors (which I love), CF wing blade, CF eyelids, CF diffuser, CF wing end plates, CF garage defend cooling panel, CF fuse box cover and it continued on...
  7. need some engine bay photos... obviously that is not an 80,000 Kilometre car, Im assuming the engine has been swapped for a fresher one?
  8. oh, Edward Lee's... and you didnt hear some of the bad experiences from that dealer??? I read your estimated 800hp capable car only made really low numbers on dyno, Im kinda not surprised. I hope your not getting the car dealer to arrange any mods or tuning.
  9. Get someone with experience to help, vinyl wrapping is a learnt technique, not always as easy as it may seem in a video...
  10. A hypergear turbo with setup issues, no it cant be!!!
  11. The type s hks cooler has threaded oil lines, the typical greddy has only push clamped lines, i have this setup on mine, i needed to get an adapter to make the greddy relocation kit work with the hks type s c

  16. why would you trust someone else (who may not necessarily be thorough or experienced) to inspect a car for you?
  17. that one should work ok with the brackets attached to it, thats a n103sl, I think sl stands for superlow, I could be wrong, very similar to mo... I need to find a rail for a passenger sparco pro 2000 so will use pretty much the same setup as the driver side but use any bride rail I can make work
  18. it would have to be modified to have a potential of 600hp
  19. if its a genuine nismo bonnet it will have ducts for rain water to be managed, the engine will not get wet, if its just a copy bonnet there will usually be no rain water protection... It worries me that you say the car dealer is tuning it for you? and that they give you a HP potential of the car, what a load of BS I dont understand why you would tune to a particular power point? why not just tune to a safe point in terms of afr, det and heat???
  20. I'm using a bride mo rail with the silver alloy brackets, had a driver. 6ft4 with helmet, sparco 2000 as well
  21. If you don't have a hand controller how did you turn the boost controller on in the PFC?
  22. yep thats the one, there was a fire in the engine bay and the vin was grinded off or something on the firewall... looks like it had been thrashed pretty bad as there was the effects of heat on it...
