is this a full carbon fibre bonnet or a fibreglass with a layer of cf over it? I have the same bonnet in fibreglass. but if I can find a full carbon fibre one I would like to upgrade, I have a arc airbox that sits perfectly under the scoop, been wanting to make a duct for it, post up photos of how you go with this

Decided to go with a 110mm hole saw, once it arrives and I'll cut and report back...

ok Ive revived my plans to modify the r33 series 2 driving light lenses to fit the front indicators to have both clean glass lenses on the front bar.... I have a pair of glass lenses, they have been sitting there a while waiting for me to get the courage or tools to attempt to cut them down to fit... through my work I cut alot of thick marble and tile onsite. the dif between glass and marble is that auto glass is highly tempered so that it shatters into chunks not shards, so my fear has been as soon as I try to cut them they will shatter and bye bye lense. I got tired of waiting so I did a test of using a small diamond hole saw to cut a hole, if it shatters it certainly cant be done if not then yes its can... and guess what it can be done, next step is to get a 110mm diamond encrusted holesaw and do it, alternatively I can continue using the small holesaw and do many holes, this glass could possibly be shaped also with a fine file...

"Are bonnet pins popular with Skylines?" thats a strange statement to make??? if you need em you use em, you dont usually put em on cause you like the look, you try to make em look good if you want to use them to hold your fibreglass or carbon fibre bonnet down, I dont see the point of using them on std bonnets, just use a secondary strap for trackdays if its a requirement. I have aerocatch on my vented bonnet and they are great... surely you googled first and saw all the photos of other r33s that have them, didnt you? you did didnt you? nah ofcourse you did...
