  4. The whole combination of mods sounds weird, maybe the previous owner is telling fibs? What boost guage are you running and where is it readig its pressure from? What boost control method? Its either not not a std ecu or its not hitting those boost levels or its a time bomb...
  5. I have a RIPS intake plenum and whilst i can fit the greddy oil filter relocation plate in the place it was made to be the iac & aac lines under the plenum (i relocated them to under the plenum rips puts them on top and probably for good reason) are a maze of tubing its pretty tight under there... But its done now and yeah it looks neater, the intercooler piping is shorter, the hot side is hot and the cold side is cool and i can change the plugs easier...
  6. Track rims are purely functional The rims you have and the attitude to make them work is purely cosmetic Which one do you want, controllable grip or a show pony?
  7. Ive had this problem with my sparco nt rims and i installed longer wheel studs, ordered through repco, thay arnt cheap though, think min cost me around $100 for a full set... Consider getting hubcentric rings as well. What model rims do you have? Pics of rims and sizes and offset, im a bit of a fan of the old sparco nt and ntII rims, i have two sets of nts both ive had reconditioned and powdercoated black...
  8. Just get a std turbo rebuilt to std specs otherwise as your finding out the price goess up fast and the mod bug will bite you... Once you start you cant stop... And if you cant stop with the mods youll find the nistune and hiflow wont be enough and your simple daily will turn into something else, im sure many people on here have found this to happen... Keep it simple and things will stay simple and relatively cheap Start to modify stuff and it wont stop and does get expensive and time consuming
  9. Yep that cheap will be fine...

  18. Stainless steel security mesh, comes in different size weaves and is strong enough to stop a thief... And is already black, costs about $30 for an offcut, mine has been on for three years and looks just as new...
  19. Damn, i already gave both of my spare orange lenses to psi parts to make moulds which it seems they wernt able to do, you could maybe contact them and see if they still have em, i gave them to them for free so maybe they would pass them on for this good cause...
  20. Def lifters... Oil flush ask repco for the behind the counter dtuff they sell to workshops or use a diesel oil for a little bit then flush that and then use your normal oil...
