  1. well no you cant, not on the std actuator... put it back together and drive...
  2. spill it, whats happened this time...?
  3. ahhh no, the wastegate flap itself can normally be turned, most of the ones Ive seen have atleast but as Xrated said, it made just need some preload on the actuator rod...
  4. dont bother, if you have to ask chances are it'll turn out crap if you try... get an upholsterer to do it or buy a new seat...
  5. you reckon...? what about price? you have a dark car, imagine trying to wrap a white car with black and have no white showing... that is really hard with vinyl, would be alot easier, cheaper and quicker with plasti dip... and a nicer removal too
  6. did you try the Aust distributor http://www.plastidip.net.au/
  7. forget vinyl wraps... go Plasti Dip.... faster, better finish and way cheaper... http://www.plastidip.net.au/
  8. thanks for that Jez....
  9. well you've only just scratched the surface and the mods you've listed are practically bare minimal requirements... and as others have said you wont make your goal power figure with your list of parts... I guess we could start listing suspension, brakes and cooling mods to make it so the power can be used and controlled, but Im sure youve already done that yeah, right, yep done that uhuh... whats with this magical 300 number anways...? why do you want 300?
  10. hay balls?
  11. The OP had this problem almost 4 years ago (old thread) maybe pm the OP to see what the resolve was..?
  12. Jesse streeter could arrange shipping I reckon... search google, he has a website, ask him the question...
  13. they found that brick you left on the accelerator pedal didnt they....
  14. yeah what was the problem? massive suspense...
  15. So your aiming for 700hp +? Powerglide and pretty much a drag setup at a guess, yeah? Why smallish cams then? I would of thought more air going through to fill the largish snail would be a good thing? And to get high revs it will be a rebuilt head anyways wouldnt it?
  16. nice, what turbo are you using on it?
  17. how are keeping the centres of the Os Bs Rs etc... photos of finished product? and a price could possibly make me interested?
  18. what are you doing with this car of yours, what are you setting it up for? what is the engine in?
  19. yeah the runners are shorter than the plasmaman, I would love to see back to back dynos of the std, plasma and rips to see what the differences are... Id like to think shorter runners add to response while possibly sacrificing power elsewhere but i havnt seen conclusive proof of power lose yet really... I like how the plasmaman plenum sits higher like the std one as you then have some room under the plenum for plumbing wiring etc... where as the rips sits low like the gtr plenum, no room and I mounted the AAC etc.. under the plenum to make it look tidy, maybe not the greated decision, Im thinking of deleting all the AAC and IAC crap to clean it up simplify it...
  20. kinda... it is fab'd in alloy with internal trumpets welded onto the std intake flange runners...
  21. RIPs also made their own forward facing plenum that actually eliminates the the lower half of the std plenum, they are know for their RB building all over the world surely the forward facing plenums cant be that bad... I have a rips plenum on mine...
  22. Vs HKS once Im on E85 as well...
  23. I find it pretty hard to do on the street, as hard braking is something that is easier on track... I cant seem to get light-medium or progressive braking and heel toe technique right
  24. more like this one???
  25. hmmm E85 and a second boot mounted fuel tank is a hell of alot cheaper than flex fuel setup me thinks... Hell I dont use the back seat anymore with two fixed back seats anyways, theres space for an enlarged fuel tank right there....
