  1. is this it...? http://g.co/maps/qj6ph
  2. Well Im reading up on it atm... the CF parts need to be UV resistant clear coat.. this is what Ive found so far.... 'Basco clear primer and Basco clear coat against UV' they mix the UV protectant in with the clear coat apparantly... Lots of CF parts have this problem, its a cosmetic thing as when CFis used in aeroplanes or boats they just paint with UV paint and you dont see the CF weave anymore but for cosmetic parts, you need UV clear coat... I think I'll be taking all my CF off and getting it all clear coated at the same time, cause I have a fair bit and want it to last.. UV also is not good for the resin as it will make it turn brittle and eventually it will crack and fall apart... this will happen faster with cheaply made CF parts... although there are reports seibon hoods have gone cloudy within a couple of weeks of being outside... and factory EVO wing blades lasting a couple of years before going cloudy, mitsubishi replaces them under warranty If anyone has anyother UV protectants that can be mixed with clear coat please let me know...
  3. I have some carbon fibre parts on my car already and my car is always in the garage, actually hasnt been out for atleast 4months for a day drive... but I did notice while going over it and being a bit ashamed at how much dust has accummulated whilst being in the garage that a carbon fibre part that has been on the car less than a year has gone cloudy.. very suprised cause its a known supplier too.. so I'll be looking at getting UV clear coat on these new parts to prevent this happening. just a thought, its easier to protect than buff the cloudy appearance away.
  4. Sounds good and interested, but how about just telling us your best price rather than asking how much we have in our wallets for it...
  5. can you use a small amount of car wash in water as a clay bar lube?? is off the shelf lube really a necessity, is there anything else you can suggest a clay lube?
  6. who built it? workshop name? receipts? the more forthcoming you are with info the more luck you have in selling it...
  7. oh crap, he's actually biting on the 18" chromies... thats a worry
  8. do you have photos, receipts of work done, who built it? why did it blow bottom end so early? what size wheels do you want? Where the hell are you?
  9. you guys are fucted, seriously... yep he has made some strange mistakes but he is learning along the way... I dont necessarily agree with his methods, but its like reading a book, I just dont know what will happen next when I turn the page... I definitely hope it all turns out well Steven, but yeah more investigation, research & knowledge before jumping in and doing stuff is good advice... 800ks on an untuned freshly built motor, not the most sound logic...
  10. talk to Jostin @ yachant... or check out their website...
  11. I have the wholesale pricelist, a fair bit cheaper, you need a $1000 USD order to get wholesale prices...
  12. why are your prices so high....? I have a pricelist form this company just so you know...
  13. Need at least worst case scenario prices to get me interested. Need more info in terms of numbers needed before group buy would go ahead. Where are u located?
  14. hey is that a 180degree bend in 200 series I spy... its looking good... Id be cutting down the length of that fuel return line so it matches up with the rubber intake line and then cable tie them together for neatness. maybe even making the rubber fine in line a tad shorter too.. The intake side on a rb25 is not easy thing to make look simple and tidy, once I put my forward facing plenum on I quickly was running out of room.. but I also dont have the original runners on like the plazmaman plenum does...
  15. wow this sounds awesome, Id actually finally & formally join as a paid club member to get in on this...
  16. suck... I cant believe they recommended those products to go together for you... you know speedflow australia are pretty helpful guys and know thier distributors, and if youve purchased products off their recommendation surely the distributor can compensate or replace them. they have sold you incompatible products...
  17. yeah I noticed there is no 180 degree series 200 fitting as well... the black and blue isnt that bad, I just see it as specialised fuel fitting, function over form is always best for reliability and from a 'do it right first time' point of view... and you cant use the series 100 hose for E85 either... what are you going to do...?
  18. ahhh yeah 200 series hose isnt compatible with 100 series fittings... the 200 series fittings are made to specifically hold the teflon, 100 is made to hold the rubber core... bugger, surely they will exchange that...
  19. Your induction noise sounds crunchy or you pod filter sounds crunchy? Both of them feel weird to write
  20. **speedflow. Damn iPhone spelling
  21. I look forward to seeing the end result of your fuel line setup, it will give me some guidance on mine. Where did u end up sourcing the braided line and speed low fitting? is it Teflon inner braided line?
  22. yeah lots of people of done similar to this with all sorts of different hardware/clark rubber store stuff.. looks cheap/crap to me...
  23. **sigh**
