  5. The factory one has (if its the one Im thinking of) a 1" hole on either side about 100mm up from the bottom, so if you have the lip on as standard then you cant take it off with out getting the wholes patched somehow... there are bolts that are moulded into the lip that go through these holes and have a butterfly nut on the inside of the front bar... plus there is also something (a clip of bolt) that goes through the upright parts either side of the whole where you would normally these days see a FMIC picks to confirm which lip you refer to as the nismo lip???

  10. No one else lives on the Central Coast or works in the Sydney CBD that I can tempt to get some Iron X with me? Im trying to save on the postage cost? Im yearning for this stuff, Ive got two sets of rims that are freshly powdercoated but have brown haze on them from brake dust.... this stuff should make em look new again...
  11. that autobarn mesh is utter crap... pls dont.. goto a security screen doors place and have a look at their stainless steel mesh, it come in different gauges so you can choose how big the holes are and their shape... and its black, its tough and its not expensive. I used it to cover my FMIC and its been on 3yrs and still looks perfect, even after having a small bird hit it...
  12. My quick net searching from other users experiences has not been good, some same they are great, but others that actually have proven and accurate ways to ascertain if the gauges are actually accurate have deemed them pathetic... they are cheap, you get what you pay for, but they do have good customer service from what it seems and are prepared to give refunds if problems are found. I personally dont like this, they are basically saying we sell good gear to those that dont know otherwise, but if you find are gauges are just cheap crap then we will give you a refund so we dont get majorly stung. these seem like the gauges you have when you cant afford gauges. ok to throw in your hyundai or lancer to look colourful and cool but if you actually need to use them for feedback info on whats going on wtih your engine then I wouldnt trust them...

  16. I dont understand how an alternator will help your car start? it will help charge a battery, but it doesnt aid in starting the car... you need to ask why your battery charge is being brought down so quickly.

  21. Ive never heard or seen a film that can go around curved edges, Im not intimate with r34 taillights though so Im not sure of the surface shape... but you could use normal window tint film on flat surfaces, but it wont go well on even a slightly 2 way curved surface... I used the tint paint on my tail lights, and its not bad, I also use red globes and they are bright enough to be easily seen in day and night time. but the painting part takes a few practice goes as the paint itself is more like an ink and will run quite easily with low buildup and you also need to be exact in the coverage to be consistent with both tail lights so they look the same and even.
  22. I concur Bendix ultimates being dusty as hell... and yep I agree the Iron x stuff sounds like an awesome answer brake dust removal... he did say he has pics of it being used on his website but his shop is empty... It seems only waxit has it for sale, just a shame the postage is $12.50, group buy??... I want 500ml Does anyone know the diff between the gel and the paste, it says the paste will allow it do work over longer time, does that mean it will get even more stubborn brake dust build up off? Should I get the paste of the gel?
