  2. Think of it as long term investment, do the hard yards now, when u have a child running around you will appreciate it I reckon... Pretty impressed you've gone through with this build this far.
  3. Sure can, anything is possible in this world... just a thought, what sort of budget are u thinking. Have u googled this? Cause I have a feeling someone somewhere in the world have already done this
  4. never trust a junkie workshop, well maybe sometimes...
  5. big pieces of anything in the oil cant be good... glad it ran for you though...

  7. You can feel/hear when something gets picked up, inspect/feel the surface and give a knead if anything is suspect, use heaps of lube...lol Always
  8. Ok I should of actually checked out the YouTube link
  9. could it just be injector noise? I know I have injector noise because when I release the throttle on decel when driving the noise stops.
  10. umm google can answer this one too.... do a search on google for 'vl turbo on rb25/30' http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/390704-std-vl-turbo-on-rb2530/ iGoogle and they said the VL turbo sucked, even a highflowed version....
  11. I felt like I was coping out if I used normal high pressure fuel hose and barb fittings when I had AN fittings and braided lines on ther parts of the fuel system...lol. this is what made me stop....
  12. interested to hear how you get on with this Hanaldo... Id also be interested where you get your parts from and your calculations of length of hose and fitting types? I could never estimate the fitting angles that were needed for a clean tidy install... so I went and did other things, like collect CF... Ive still got the rails, reg and large injectors waiting for my e85 upgrade sitting waiting for time and the braided lines...
  13. jeebus... even google answers this for you not hard... first too results in google for 'how much boost can I run on my r33 gtst' How Much To Boost Stock Turbo - Skylines Australia and a video answer JapanDyno.com How High to Boost Stock R32 R33 R34 RB25DET ... seriously lazy or rich and retarded or just retarded take your pick, you can choose any three
  14. $4-$6 off sounds like a tad more than wholesale price to me... can you do any better price wise...
  15. Im guessing it may be an infiniti g37 4dr gtr not on the cards until 2015 or later
  16. read my son, learn the ways of turbo car and all will be revealed... heaps of info on this internet thing Ive heard
  17. have you checked out the offset thread... budget will probably play a major part in your selection say no to chrome... polished lip perhaps not that Im a fan of polished lips but only certain rims can be polished all over and look good, still say no to chrome though, polished and chrome are different things... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/84208-wheel-sizes-offsets-for-skylines/
  18. clay bar is what the detailer will use then a mild to aggressive buff depending on depth of scratches... I dont know of a detailer in that area though sorry...
  19. ok now photoshop roof racks on a skyline at the beach with a surfboard on it and tell me it still looks that cool...
  20. yep exactly, the soft temp racks are the best, both for your car and your surfboard.... well idk tbh, but its best for the car, maybe a nice microfibre cloth under them and a sweet treat for your car afterwards, and a card for birthdays, xmas and easter, and an extra special buff just to say sorry to your line... maybe you could get another car just to transport your surfboard, just an idea....
  21. maybe there is another solution? what do you need to carry
  22. hmmmm. changed plugs a few years ago... that could be the prob. I woudnt be waiting for things to break before replacing them, cause the next thing could be your engine, due to leaning out. upgrade fuel pump. Stock ECU cant be tuned, so they just turned the boost up, probably just before it went rich&retarded. I reckon your safest two choices are to turn boost down and read lots of SAU to learn what it is your driving or take it to a respectable mechanic to fix. buy an aftermarket ECU, if your impressed by a highflow accompanied by all the stock parts, then you'll loose your shite when you get a tuneable ECU and fuel pump. and yeah which is it, an electronic or manual boost controller???
  23. I thought you were actually starting to do well... until. I wouldnt be sure of myself with a fresh built engine, Id get someone experienced to this stuff just so I know its done right, the money spent on engaging someones experience now will be money and worry saved in the long run... How were you going to drive down to sydney area to get the car tuned, would that mean you would be driving it all that way untuned? doesnt sound like a good idea to me...
  24. yeah where are you????
  25. offset? width? Colour? Where are you? How many rims? Off what car? What condition? With or without tyres? pics in thread would be good?
