ok, well flocking is definitely not in your budget, real suede not in your budget, and getting a professional to do it doesnt sound like it would be on the cards either.... hmmm, spotlight fabric of some sort and a can or spray splatter adhesive, not the paper sticking kind... -
definitely need more details... turbo or non-turbo, gtr, gtst or what, manual or auto... the list goes on...????

how much are you looking to spend??? -
What has been on them? like cleaners, moisturisers etc... sticky like glue or sticky like dust seems to be attracted to them? markdem - "sol prep" do you mean "prep sol", if so I wouldnt go near an interior with that stuff....

hey nice, thats a unique and rare tommy kaira you had there Godz1lla.... its got the rims, the suspension, the TK intercooler, all the engine bits everything that makes it a TK is there... that would of been nice...

What area are you in? someone who can design the art a company that can supply the material and print/cut the design and the person who installs it onto the car is rarely the same company or person. - Be sure to get the art done by someone who actually 'knows', decent design but also design for car installation, and what the pros and cons of each material are. - Get the production done a reputable company, not the biggest or most expensive, but one that does a good job. - And finally get a properly trained installer who specialises in installing onto cars, lots of people say they can do it, very few are excellent at it. For me its all about getting the art on the car as the designer intended it to be, close enough isnt good enough for me.

Garage Cleanout Heaps Of Stuff

1 - r33 gtr spoiler in black with carbon end caps $250, do the end caps have GTR embossed into them? would sell/swap the end caps only 2 - r33 gtr bee r carbon fibre wing (brand new never fitted just taken out of the packaging) $250 pics of the BeeR wing, replaces std GTR blade? -
Exactly, no reason to keep matching numbers when every other original bit is gone too. and back to my previous statement, its a series 1 with a bodykit, an ugly one at that. u can continue build process of your series 1 now...
-
Im glad we got that sorted. Now please continue with your story of upgrades to your series 1 r33 (with mish mash of left over parts from what could of been a unique r33 but isnt since its missing most of, and will be missing a heap more in the future of, its 'rare' and 'unique' parts, which could of been called a tommy kaira but is now sadly just a wanka-thon to make it sound so much better than every other r33 series 1) that a heap of people on these forums have already been there and done that to their own... I am honestly still keen to hear what you want to do and reading it happen and seeing the awesome pics of the process, and Im sure it will be nicely done and and done your way, and there is nothing wrong with that... but please come down to earth, your doing what alot of people have done before its not rare, unique or different, its another build process, and yes it may be great even the one done perhaps the best, but I reckon alot of people have started just like your starting now, with a very similar car. I reckon do a build thread too, with heaps of pictures, I love seeing pictures of decent builds, and I love shiny parts and loud obnxious cars that scare when driven... btw most people say the series 2 looks better, just sayin...
-
Damn thats a bummer, you know Id fully help you search for TK parts if you went on the path to get it back to original... the world is full of huge power skylines, but not many original TKs with all performance mods done... you wont be able to call it a TK anymore, pull that decal and badge off...
-
it should have a TK plate in the engine bay with a TK number.... apparantly they did different level stages in mods. dibs on the turbo if your replacing it...
-
hey youve bought cams for it, if its the full m25 it already has tomei cams... shame it doesnt have the real rims... and the tommy badge on the back it doesnt have the TK brakes? or the TK suspension? but you can buy just the TK bodykit from them? and it should have steel internal turbo, able to pushed to 17psi with a TK ecu, put it on a dyno and check boost pressure and see what it puts out before you mod it perhaps if it doesnt have any of the mechanicals done the block is just another rb25 block? meaning its not full m25 anyways.. not trying to blow you out of the water, Im just actually interested now if it is a full m25 you should actually get it back to std TK spec, will be more desirable, than just another modded 33
-
Actually looking at the specs for an M25 it says it has forged internals? if thats true I am actually impressed, admittedly I still dont like the bodykit though... It wont be an original M25 once your done though, shame.
-
You seem to think that a 'genuine tommy' is something special, get over it, its a body and nothing more...imo not a very nice body kit either. 30 bottom ends are the choice for drag racers and circuit racers and you say I want to make power but I dont like a 30 bottom end, why? cheaper, easier to get parts, well proven, more down low grunt, will feed bigger turbo... the title to this thread is right, Newbie? Are you asking for advice or just telling people what your doing? whether your right or wrong seems irrelevant to you? Im still keen to see what you do, and yep I'll applaud any effort put into building a decent functional car I just dont understand your comments sometimes and dont understand what this thread is actually about? if you want to just boast, do a build thread, if want advice ask and accept answers
-
meh just looks like another series 1 except a tall wing... that turbo is huge, have fun filling that up with air... wait for it, wait for it...... no no wait for it... and wheel spin, dada....!!! go for it though, anything on wheels can be fun imo
-
thread needs pics
-
well I did say 'prefer to see'
-
can you remove those photos please they hurt my eyes... 17" anything will be better than those. prefer to see some works, gram lights or te37sl
-
nah Ive got it sussed she's now asking me have you got that polishing stuff yet? my car really needs it... done... no drain stain or gravitational pull required.. damn I think I know how to operate the machine that is women, well getting there atleast!
