  1. hmmm I too would like to know about these secretive tail lights for a r33...?
  2. excellent to hear you confirmed the spring poundage... that confirms where the small prob is... now to find those lifters from the US... should sound sweet then...
  3. it does look good... I fully recommend everyone to do it... I'll see what I can do about pics, but pretty much they are going to show a nicely satin black coated version of what you have...lol... just make sure you prep them well before painting....
  4. Im not sure of the brand, 90lb is alot, performance springs dont even know where they would find a 90lb spring to fit.... 65lb was recommended... 90lb will cause lifter issues apparantly...
  5. want this discuss only a short while back, do a search... but Im pretty sure they said carmate have cheaper copies or you can yahoo auction for them.... and I dont even have a 34.... lol...
  6. oh what the awesome BC coilovers couldnt possibly be a prick to change height on surely.... sorry couldnt help it... but on a less sarcastic note, settling in is usually just the top and bottom rubber getting squished in again not so much the spring, should settle after a drive and then done...
  7. hmmm 7psi eh... isnt that a key point in regards to the stock ecu...??? I wouldnt know Ive never had a std ecu in a r33
  8. vacuum leak??? check hose clamps watch boost guage to see what psi the problem starts? maybe an indication
  9. well Im assuming they would of been cleaned, but Im concerned the 90lb springs arnt helping with allowing the hydraulic lifters to function, not oiling up as soon as they could.... 90lb is a heavy valve spring yeah???
  10. could it be the 90lb valve springs are a bit too much, 65lb sound a bit nicer.... does anyone think the 90lb springs are not allowing the hydraulic lifters to oil up properly...???
  11. are you saying you stuck the rubber strip down with silicon? pics?
  12. nope Ive had no luck in finding a replacement rubber strip, only the OEM replacement cowling @ $220 each... so I remove the deteriorated rubber strip, sanded and sprayed the cowling plastic & the wiper arms in satin black, looks good...
  13. yep more pics please... they're lookin good... group buy phil???
  14. PSI will soon have housings and lenses... all sent... finally...
  15. I would be interested if you can give confirmed pricing
  16. my vented bonnet was $350 to spray black from gel coat... my front bar was $220 to spray in two colours, black and silver... get it done by a professional, less headaches and good results, and if they stuff it up they just have to do it again...
  17. alloy will corrode... you didnt actually need to strip them completely to repaint them though... I just did mine, a clean a sand a black satin paint... done...
  18. why dont you just go without a surge tank and keep the tank over half full when on track... then you dont need a surge tank, aint that right?? unless your pullin huge G's on the street with less than a 1/4 of a tank... my understanding with a surge tank is its just so the pick never comes out of the fuel, hence hard cornering on low tank level... is this a street car or a track car..?
  19. yep white rims always look dirty unless your anal enough to clean them all the time...
  20. yeah its a bit out of the way where you are, how annoying... hese guys are a little bit too far maybe... trulinesteering.com.au but atleast they seem to have some good experience and also some good reviews...
  21. were still only talking about 280rwkw for a street car... it will cost the same to upgrade the fuel system to E85 as if your target was 320rwkw but then were talking different turbos surely and thats another quite large expense. so why run E85 simply for knock protection, cant you just run a really safe tune... oh but you want to squeeze the enth amount of power out of the turbo too cause you dont want to loose response on your street driven car... you cant have it all, well you can but it will just cost more money... I still dont quite understand why you would need 740cc injectors to make 280, even if its E85, Im on pulp with 550cc and only at 50-70% injector duty making 289rwkw... we still dont even know what turbo the op is intending on using?
  22. it all depends how much you lower it, but I lowered mine to the 'sydney kid' suggested height for best performance about 30-35mm and I needed the camber kit back and front.... bob jane, pedders, jax they are all pretty much general tyre people, to get a professional alignment get a professional suspension workshop, do you realise anyone can work at a tyre place, just on the job training, no certification nothing... I went to selbys at tuggerah, cause they are the ones closest to me, but any decent suspension place is good, if you see rally cars, track cars or hardcore 4wds parked out front your at the right place.
  23. you dont need larger than 500cc and you dont need e85 to make 280rwkw
