  1. just remember with those 'BC coilovers' dont go raising and lowering your car just because you want to... whenyou change the ride height significantly you really need camber adjustments to match, changing the height and camber is not someone anyone can just do... I run bilstein and lowered spring with all the camber adjustment and sways etc.... and got a professional alignment done from a specialist workshop, not pedders or jax, a decent workshop who specialised in suspension setups for extreme 4wds, track & rally cars and it made all the difference... I find no need to change the height from street to track and yep Im all the same height at both side of the car and i installed all the parts myself but got a good 4 wheel alignment done... its true what was mentioned earlier about monotube and twin tube shocks... I think cheap coilovers have a placebo effect on most people, and a shock and spring setup no matter what it is for our cars is still called a coilover.
  2. powdercoat will last longer, is heaps more durable and will probably cost about $200 if you find the right person... but the tyres do have to come off for it to happen...
  3. but Im already running a 040 in-tank and making 290rwkw on 550cc next going to E85 using 840cc injectors and same pump Im thinking so far... why do you need to use 740cc to make 280rwkw???
  4. bright green or blue
  5. yep the aluclad or probond would be quite sturdy as long as you have a frame to rivet it onto.. check the spec sheet for probond... http://www.cphgraphicsupplies.com.au/pdfs/cph_cat_ProBond.pdf
  6. oh sure I have one of those in my back pocket just waiting for someone to ask to buy it from me... why dont you try asking in the 'wanted to buy' section...
  7. oh I know about costing alot... an external CF addiction and making things look decent in the engine bay seem to me to be functional, not just cosmetic... lol...
  8. nope I didnt work out a landed price as Im not an LED tail light fan but it got my going when I saw the Quest LED ones.... this was a possible cheaper alternative.... spending huge money on cosmetic rather function aint my thing, well not huge dollars anyways......
  9. I used an arc airbox and it all bolts up in the stock airbox location and the hks hardpipe fits perfectly with afm in stock place... it made things nice and neat... sounds like you dont have a choice but redo a new air filter location of sorts...
  10. my 2835 came with the 3" intake with slots... so I used 3" and it all fitted the AFM using the HKS hardpipe all the way to the airbox.. using a silicon joiner here and there... may as well just use a reducer from the turbo intake, you still have to accommodate the afm anyways....
  11. yep the quest ones do look better... these do have led indicators and reverse lights, but the brake lights arnt quite as nice... keen to seen yours, shame the trader on here couldnt organise a group buy price that we all jumped at....
  12. I found these on yahoo japan, they look similar to the fairly expensive ones done by Quest which were posted in a trader thread on here... what do people think on the look of these ones? http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e111767150
  13. how many Ks are on it? Original unopened engine? where is it located?

  15. I have the lense from the other side as well as both housings, I only got them for the glass lenses to cut to make them fit my car, so the other parts are leftovers... I'll see what I can do about getting them to you so we can continue with this... I guess if I get my glass lenses to fit I wont be in for the purchase of what you produce, but if I fail Im keen...
  16. Id be considering a bright colour tbh, black silver white gold, all done to death... when Ive seen a coloured rim it always catches my eye in a good way, orange rim on white looks good, so would other colours, always make sure you can tie whatever rim colour in with other parts on your car be it engine, bonnet, or car graphic colours..
  17. Cause Im comin from the north I'll probably meet up with the guys at Mountview pde oval... bit easier to get to for me... should be nice weather,,
  18. yeah I was just having a laugh...
  19. so I gather I need to look at my boost gauge in 4th gear full throttle.... hmmm that'll be an interesting task to complete... how fast is that again?? lol
  20. I always assumed that when people spoke about when they get full boost by in the rpm range, it meant in second or third gear... here I am thinking why arnt I hitting 21psi by 3200rpm in 2nd gear...
  21. weight your car at a garbage tip for free, if you are near a tip that uses weight to charge for rubbish, drive in turn around and come out...no weight change no cost... lol...
