  1. stop teasing me photos, they look so cool... I cant wait to see them in the flesh....
  2. yeah but they were special spark plugs
  3. titanium exhaust & strut tower braces will help with weight reduction.. CF front bar & guards remove the dash completely use black lexan to cover the wires for legalities maybe.... remove anything that isnt there for driving or performance pretty much
  4. Yo probably wont end up driving this car on the road anyways cause after removing all this stuff to make it light it wont be comfortable as a street car.. noisy hot & rattly....
  5. Yep I can confirm their kits are ghey...
  6. you sure they are authentic
  7. Im not sure the 2530 will get past 250...
  8. some places offer to repair rims but dont actually do it themselves and they turn out to be a middle man and add their own profit on top of the actual repair... be sure your talking to the workshop that actually does the work.
  9. I would of done the same...
  10. ^^^^ same... except Im not itchy...
  11. Id would love to see pics of your newly coated hardware....Im hoping to get time to pull off all of my newsetup to get it all coated now its sorted and tuned. I know Craved's prices and results are great but the hi-Octane site does have some good examples of the colours that be done... Just a shame Craved is so far away from me, I have to use the local guy up my way, still good results, but not as competitive on prices, the less travel makes up the difference Id hope...
  12. you need to use a polishing rouge with some buffing wheels either on a drill on a bench grinder.... then to do the finishing polish or to keep them shiny use some autosol... Having polished bits sucks though, cause you'll be forever polishing them... I did it once, never again powdercoat for everything now... get them powdercoated, goto Hi-Octane website and check out there chrome colours if you want the polished look, that way you wont have to keep polishing them, you can just wash and dry like you do the rest of the car and they'll keep their shine...
  13. bunnings poslishing kit on a drill, is probably the cheapest way... if you have a bench grinder you could invest in some polishing or buffing wheels and some rouge... google search works too...
  14. I found mine brand new for cheaper than most buy a 3071 or 76 for... search, wait and you shall find...
  15. and there is still so much good about a HKS2835 turbo...
  16. actually Im in NSW on the central coast, see if you can find another repairer close to you for a price comparison perhaps...
  17. I have a wheel repair guy up here that will weld in metal filling if needed & machine the lip for $50 a rim for perfect brand new looking results but yeah he needs the rim off the car with the tyre off the rim... get it fixed one way or another, you know everytime you look at your car it will stick out like dogs balls to you, even though no one else can perhaps see it...
  18. no no no... what you need is a HKS2835 PRoS with ceramic coated exhaust housing (while your there get the compressor housing coated in a funky colour too) 800cc plus injectors (enough room to run E85 when you want more power) a Z32 AFM a great boost controller, hell why not get the apexi boost controller for the PFC get all that tuned for an awesomely responsive 275rwkw+ on 98 and 300+ on E85.... dont choose cheap dont choose to look stock just choose awesome
  19. excellent work in setting up testing of these brake setups, cant wait to read your review...
  20. OK if someone can pause time fo me I can actually continue the project... my time gets eaten by work. 105-110mm diamond hole saw, a wood jig to hold the lense, a drill and a heap of water, I already have the spare glass lenses waiting
  21. ECU first is the best, I had just a 3.5" turbo back exhaust and a PFC and it drove completely different to my friends stock 33...
  22. the 040 pump will be fine for the gtrs, the 044 is the external pump your thinking of... the vipec ecu seems good from all accounts and so is the nistune but the Fcon is harder to find a tuner for Ive heard, if you want a hand controller go the powerFC, but at the end of the day get what your preferred tuner has the most experience with and recommends... you say you have 'hurricane custom 3inch sports exhaust ( cat and cannon )' tell me you will have a 3 or 3.5" dump as well.... I wouldnt even worry about a pod filter just run the std airbox with a decent hiflow panel filter or an arc airbox... pods are ghey imo. Im assuming you meant 'cooling pro intercooler'... yeah.? never heard of a pro cool one... with injectors keep in mind that E85 is around more and more and to run it you need 30% more fuel flow, more power, less detonation more timing...
  23. So your running with diesel fuel? cause the bosch 440 is a diesel fuel pump isnt it????
  24. what about a two stage powdercoat chrome with a grey or other colour over the top... Hi Octane do some awesome colours now....
  25. sounds like you need to buy a hoist for your garage now lol....
