  1. I think the fenders are from Cross Factory
  2. yes Ztune style fenders and Yes CF on the skirts ala Ztune style... we need a CF front splitter and those guards in CF and those CF skirt add ons... I need a local CF dealer, cause Im needing a hit CF more and more lately....
  3. Im betting there in Japan and cost heaps... thats just a guess though, exactly what Im after though but in CF...
  4. did someone say carbon fibre Im interested of course.....
  5. Ive always wanted to replace the orange plastic indicator lenses on my front bar of my series 2 with the same lense as the driving light uses, its been done using plastic of different sorts but I want to use the glass ones so it looks the same... I have some spare glass lenses, but they need to be cut down to fit, all of the glaziers and glass artsits Ive shown them to cant or wont attempt to cut it... so the only thing I can think of to get this done was to use a diamond hole saw Ive searched for a while to see if someone has use these on headlight lenses fearing that I would just end up breaking the glass, but it seems it may be possible, I found a thread where they were modifying BMW headlights to use with projector install. so Im gonna have a go at this, Ive already sourced the diamond hole saw, the guy below is basically using the exact same method I was going to use, so it atleast seems Im on the right track... If anyone has any tips or advice please let us know... if it works out well I may have a diamond hole saw for sale barely used and the right size so others can do this mod as well... 5C) Attach the diamond-plated hole saw and set the drill to its slowest speed. The recommended speed is about 160 to 180 RPM. We achieved a good result despite the drill press’s minimum speed of 250 RPM. 2.75” or 70 mm diameter hole saw to cut glass 5D) Build a jig with wood scraps to secure the inner lens. Position two wood blocks so they fit into the notches of the lens and screw them down into the wood base. Lens goes face down so it can hold water. 5E) Move the hole saw down to position where your hole will be cut. Clamp the whole assembly onto the drill press when you’re satisfied with the positioning. Drill press setup 5F) Fill the lens with water before you drill. However, the hole saw manufacturer recommends using a diamond tool coolant. I found water worked just fine. Either way, the water or coolant is absolutely necessary to: – Cool the hole saw – Lubricate the cutting surface – Suspend glass dust Fill her up 5G) Start drilling and use as little pressure as possible. Have patience because it will take a couple of minutes to go through each piece of glass. IIRC, the recommended pressure at the cutting surface is 2 lbs. Let the drill do the work and every so often, raise the hole saw to let water settle. Once you hit the wood base, lift up and shut off the drill. Glass drilling – click to play (2.33 MB AVI clip) White liquid is water mixed with glass dust The center piece – remove it before you do the next one (we neglected to do so after the first one) 5H) Remove the lens and rinse. Smooth down the cut edge with waterproof sandpaper under lukewarm running water. Repeat for the other lens. Not bad for glass cutting virgins 5J) Put the lens back into the housing glass and apply black silicone to hold it in place. The two tabs hold it in place but it could rattle so the silicone is strongly recommended. It’s also a good fix in case one of the tabs is broken which is circled in red below. Silicone the sides only
  6. oh phil Im gonna tempt you with a paint or vinyl design so they will match your CF top secret bonnet theme of leaving a little bit of CF showing.... I reckon even $680 is cheap really, its abouts $350 for just the fenders in fibreglass plus $200plus for painting or just get them in CF... and Ive wanted to run the 9.5" rims all round for a while now, they are sitting there as spare rears at the moment... I cant wait to see the whole of my 33 in CF... no Im not addicted at all...
  7. Im going to be partially covering them in vinyl to match my silver 33 colour so it blends in... bit of a design as well to work with silver vinyl on the CF bonnet as well...
  8. no you cant!!!
  9. wow I want to find one for $300 too...
  10. yep I currently have 8.5 on the front and I have 9.5" matching rims to replace them... cant wait I may even just go ahead and buy them from Unique auto as response to this EOI has been kinda lame so far, seems there arnt many as interested/addicted to CF as me...
  11. Im not sure what the profile or size of the r34 one is but it would be great if they are the same... Im hoping I get a phoen call saying he has found a match for me then we can buy a roll of it...
  12. bride is also licensed in Canada and China I think to manufacture product.... so is it a replica or just made in canada or china???
  13. so are people keen for a whole new cowling or just the rubber strip to be replaced, you do realise the rubber strip will need to be glued on somehow, thats how it was from factory
  14. no, the thin one on the windscreen side of that plastic
  15. at the base of the r33 windscreen there is a rubber seal in between the glass and the plastic cowling... its actually joined to the cowling from factory... photo anyone???
  16. OMG you were serious... umm google the differences between petrol engines and diesel, or better yet put some diesel in your skyline and report back....
  17. yep thats the one, Ive got a rubber supplier searching for it for me... see what he finds, then I'll just paint the plastic... but Im also keen to collect more CF so getting some made up would be completely awesome, and PSI parts carbon work on the foglight surrounds was excellent... PSI is also keen to make up some CF front fenders depending on numbers....
  18. look lets just say 'yes diesel conversion is possible' and see what happens....
  19. wow I actually expected a bit more response than this? people arnt really interested in these or what?
  20. I contacted JustJap and got a price of $220 for a brand new cowling plastic with the rubber strip attached, you cant actually get the rubber strip by itself... I asked if there would be any discount if we could place a bulk order and they said they would see what they could work out depending on numbers. Of course Im still tempted to see PSI parts would want to make these in CF, I have a local rubber supplier searching for a similar or the same profile rubber strip to replace the OEM nissan one, I should hear back in the next couple of days about the rubber strip material or similar being able to be sourced... Anyone interested in a new cowling, a CF version or new rubber strip? group buy on one of these options?
  21. Thanx for that.. nice that he is willing to send another set if they have been lost in transit... I know they will be worth the wait.
  22. still no tracking number or communication on the whereabouts of these pedals???
  23. yep thats nice... Im keen, Group buy!!!!
  24. Well I dont have ABS so.... but Im keen for more CF for sure... Id love to replace the cowling plastic, otherwise it needs continuous moisturising to keep it black...
  25. Yeah Id definitely be interested to see how these sit, double sided would make them a winner for sure... CF rear diffuser CF front guards CF bonnet CF foglight surrounds CF exhaust shield CF Eyelids CF front canards CF side canards CF garage defend cooling panel CF spoiler blade CF bootlid where will it end...? CF panel that goes under windscreen wipers???? and CF front bars
