  1. an indication of the proflow cartridge style physical size, its the black cylinder shape on the right hand side of pic
  2. there are also these ones... http://www.racepartsolutions.com/proddetail.asp?prod=MAG%2DFilter We recommend 74micron for inlet, 25micron for outlet before the carburetor/regulators
  3. well its a washable filter being stainless steel mesh and all... That was my next question? I could order one in and its the size of a muffler or the size of a texta, there are no physical sizes mentioned... I wonder if it would fit the std bracket, that would be nice...
  4. the cartridge ones being like these they support up to 2400hp... thats not over kill for what I need??? I'll max out at around 450hp
  5. so vpw has recommended this: http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.asp?CatID=0&PrdGrpID=4344 they didnt give a reason why I needed this huge one but they were aware of my setup... it supports 2400hp wtf....
  6. Im installing some bosch 840cc with billet fuel rail and also a sard fuel reg, I'll be running braided lines and AN fittings all the way through... Can I replace the std ryco fuel filter with a billet fuel filter? http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.asp?CatID=6&SubCatID=771&priorCatID=771&PrdGrpID=4887 Are these just a pre-filter? Is there a difference between an in-line filter and a pre-filter? Would 30 micron be ok by itself or would I need to use a 100micron and then another with a 30micron filter in it? I dont have a surge tank yet, just an intank bosch pump. these are a reusable filter which you can take apart and clean which I thought would be good since E85 is gonna clean out the fuel system and possibly clog up the fuel filter when you start using it, plus they AN fittigns meaning they are nicer to install and easier to remove than pulling tight rubber hose off a barbed end... Anyone with experience with these?
  7. is it by chance a gates timing belt, a blue one???

  11. are you running FC hako and copilot successfully, no problems? What operating system are you using? and does this mean your mounting the laptop in the cabin? Are you using a latop mounting system or are you building a screen into the dash and having the laptop remote elsewhere in the car? Id be keen to see how you get on with a hud for it.

  16. going off the picture there is no sensor and the rj45 plug has been cut off is this correct and its last years model which they no longer sell... So I would need ot get a new bosch sensor, replace the rj45 connector and it should be right to go? did you install this yourself, how hard is the install and do you need any software to hook it up to a laptop? did you hook it up to your ecu at all? which ECU?
