  1. when I had this turbo check by a workshop they did say the movement I was worried about was normal for BB turbo and that once it had oil floating the bearings it would be fine.... they said I was worried about nothing and I took their word for it... it seems once I started searching BB turbos do have some movement in them...
  2. brake and suspension parts will make it alot more fun & faster and can be way cheaper than doing power upgrades
  3. photos & price for boot carpets & all clips and plastic that goes over latch area... postage to NSW 2250, photos are a must to see condition
  4. you need to post pricess as part of the forum rules or you'll start getting some stupidly low offers
  5. no I said a bleed valve and a high flow filter, said nothing about a pod... pods are gay, and I suppose you have one right??? You had the guy buying a whole heap of useless hardware and going for a power run and tune... thats really woeful & expensive advice that would do bugger all for him... seriously stop giving bad advice and making crap posts... and baggin me out for making some money on the side is really no way to go about proving yourself correct, lets just keep it on topic, you really dont know who you'll piss off on a forum.
  6. go back to the wasteland, you cant be wrong there....
  7. oh classic, valve damage producing metal filings... how cute... please stop now... its hurts
  8. good one plan B, the original question was 'what Mods can I do at a basic level without spending much cash at the mo to make it pretty quick' the best answer you could give would be 'not many, search be covered by more experienced people than me...'
  9. Adrad eh... price match???
  10. twin 4" pipes out the back... so is it purely a cosmetic exhaust?
  11. What rims come in 18x10 & 18x12?
  12. whats your budget? how much do you have to spend? Will you be doing the work yourself or getting a workshop to do it?
  13. wow not temper glass eh... that should theoretically make it easy for a glasier you'd think.. I cant wait to work this one out...
  14. anyone have a lense handy on them, post up the diameter size we need to cut it too... Im keen to try this Ive got some spare glass lenses at home but they are packed away whilst Im moving house....
  15. what about something like this whilst flooding the glass lense with water, they come in different sizes http://cgi.ebay.com.au/80mm-Diameter-Silver-Tone-Marble-Hole-Saw-Cutter-/200572442283?pt=AU_Tool_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb30c96ab#ht_2573wt_1141
  16. next we need to get someone to cut the glass on those clear glass lenses so we can replace the orange indicators.... hmmm firstly I need some time to do all this stuff...
  17. oh ok... thanks for letting everyone know I guess...
  18. the rb26 cam covers fit no changes required... but if your using the stock cross over pipe I dont think they will work for you as the cross over pipe will foul on the cam covers, Im using a front facing plenum. but if you want the timing belt cover to match seamlessly with the cam covers you will need the rb26 belt cover and backing plate, the rb26 covers are slightly more rounded and therefore the 25 belt cover doesnt match the shape. I currently have the rb26 cam covers and valley cover on my 25 and Ive got the belt cover and backing plate there to install, I just want to get them all freshly powder coated first.... the belt cover needs either a whole or a lump modded into it as the rb25 as VCT intake cam end to consider, I'm getting some welding done on mine for this and also grinding off the rb26 raised letters... there are a few threads about this already thats how I found out about it all...
  19. camber wear isnt really the issue I would be worried about, Id be more concerned having incorrect camber reducing traction...
  20. wow I cant wait fror mine to arrive now... its gonna looks so cool when all my CF goes on.
  21. do you have a link for these on ebay, I dont seem to be able to find any... The rb26 ones will fit though Ive been told... are they the right offset, have you tried fitting them at all?
  22. what about these as well to help reduce play on the rack... http://www.nengun.com/nismo/reinforced-steering-gear-mount-bush
  23. and then let me know where you found them so I can get a set cause I cant find them for rb25, well at least ones that arnt at a crazy price... otherwise I'll use the rb26 ones I have sitting here...
  24. maybe we should ask what the brand and model of the atmo BOV he is using, cause I run a HKS ssqv and have none of these issues, and before you start bagging, the tuner chose to use it over the std one I supplied both were supplied to him... I have no stalling issues with or without AC on... 21psi of boost @ 290rwkw... the tuner did say the BOV was very surprising to him and that it held closed very well and didnt leak like most others do, that is why he used it. maybe only some atmo bovs have given them all a bad name in some regards, not all but some problem areas...
