umm wow, who told you that one.... you need to read and learn way more before you do anything... stock 16 year old brakes - fail stock 16 year old suspension - fail thinking BC coilovers will do everything - complete idiocy seriously a car with only 150rwkw but a half decent suspension and brake setup would embarass you.... coilovers dont do castor adjustment on any car..., do you even know what castor is? 36 way adjustments in your hands would mean it would clearly be setup wrong.

what about suspension & brakes and, I dont think just adding coilovers is called an upgrade to the suspension on their own without being setup, then there is bushes and alignments (and some sort of adjustable parts, castor & camber), and setting up suspension and alignment does not mean going to jax tyres, I mean a serious alignment by a proper suspension workshop...

so why are running all of that brand name gear and yet running crap tyres and stock suspension... you dont know what turbo your running? and a HKS not making boost until 4300rpm, thats not that great... that would feel like driving a sponge... makes no sense what so ever to not do suspension work first...

what engine/turbo/suspension setup are your running btw..??

it is abnormal to not to be able to hold that amount of power better than what your describing, less your running a completely stripped lightweight shell with absolutely no weight on the rear wheels. I dont think your being picky at all, I do think you have a traction issue... If I push 2nd gear flat I'll get wheelspin at 6800rpm because that where max power is being created, but that is 60rwkw more than what your running, at 250rwkw I didnt have a wheelspin issue like your describing... so yeah you have a problem somewhere... but dont just turn your power down, find the issue, get traction, enjoy it even more.... Im using nangkang NS2 tyres and they are a $160 each tyre and are crap and cheap but they serve a purpose to me, Im saving my good tyres for decent driving...

getting 'BCs' wont solve the problem, they'll need to be setup properly, then camber alignment will be needed since you'll probably want to lower the height having 'coilovers', then you'll definitely have a camber issue, if you have stock suspension you shouldnt really have a camber issue, so maybe there is something else wrong, Im using the crappiest cheapest crap tyres but with good alignment and Im holding 290 fairly well with a very responsive turbo.

wow your camber sucks then, I can get to 7K rpm with 290rwkw in 3rd and its just zooms off and thats with really crappy tyres, but with a well setup suspension and camber alignment get proper suspension setup... oh & tune out wheelspin, thats just funny...

weekend bump, fair few enquiries for the HKS turbo, but its still here... seriously its a perfect match for a rb25... power, response and sounds awesome... fits std manifold...

Thats not being a pain at all, I'll send you a pic of the flange, alternatively you can have a search around for a secondhand HKS dump that matches, they come up occasionally. I didnt use the HKS dump I got a custom bellmouth style dump made.

std r34 turbo sold, I do have a blown r33 turbo (front bearing stuffed) and std water and oil lines... short shifter kit available $13 postage to 4212. The HKS 2835 was removed to be replaced for power upgrade, I never saw the dyno figures off that exact turbo but another HKS2835 same spec Ive just finished installing achieved 289.3rwkw, using the std exhaust housing .68. and I have unused braided lines that can go with it as well as an exhaust flange, its not a laser cut flange, its been hand made with wastegate flap clearance taken into consideration. $23 postage to 4212

so if running gtrs, gt2835, 3071 or 3076 kinda sized turbo on a rb25.. where in the power curve would the most difference be? and how much difference?
