  1. no because drilling will mean actualy drilling straight down the stud using a drill bit the same size as the stud, you may find it easier to use a smaller bit first to start it off, stud is easy to replace... I may even have one in the garage, but I wont be able to check until Monday...
  2. only one way I know to get it off is to drill it, you'll then need a new stud and a new wheel nut....
  3. oh doh, Ive just found an 040 and paid for it thanks though...
  4. what sad news, what a complete tragedy to have people leave the world this way... RIP stay safe out there people...
  5. I cant believe they spent so much money on the contra flow systems when its just some cross over points on the highway and some gates on the old pac... then again the 2 Central coast welcome signs cost over $40K wtf... there must be some tradie friends of council making some huge money on some of crap projects that council comes up with...
  6. Im slowly learning japanese and I've been using the pimsleur japanese language course and Im finding it quite good, you have two others that are learning along with you as well as a japanese speaker as well, so you get a few perspectives, its done really well... there are torrents around for it
  7. oh you should definitely go the veilside kit, everyone loves that one....
  8. unfortunately old mining land (areas prone to subsidence) have in the past been used for domestic housing, it doesn't seem to stop councils selling the land off to developers strangely enough. There was an article in the local paper about Wyong council not having enough space to allow building of a track, not surprising to hear them using the excuse of catchment areas excuse since dam/water level issues have priority no1 since they brainwashed the public into thinking its not actually councils fault that there isnt enough water catchment in the area, (only because they sold off catchment areas to build housing on years ago). Council has told all their staff to not waste anymore time on investigation into the subject, about 3 months later there was a small piece in the same paper saying they were looking into it again, dont hold your breath though. But they seem to be able find land to build large commercial developments, probably because there is more money and benefits in it for them and their builder and developer mates. Someone else tried building a motorbike recreation park up at somersby and the locals stopped that one, then there is now talk of another motorbike recreation park Mount White way and I think that will be stopped by the locals because of dust issues or something similar. Maybe we should find out how Eastern Creek came about, what tactics/methods were used to get it by council and local approval?
  9. How did he see your 'thin build' if your in a car...? Im just wondering, usually all I see of people in cars is there head and shoulders... not much to go on really as far as their 'build'
  10. it is a hard decision isnt it & yep being in the hunter valley makes it hard for track days... Im working towards the trailer now, Ive got the tow car (05 Nav diesel 4wd, yep overkill) now I just need to decide that yes its now a dedicated track car... which has its bonuses, I can run semi's and not have to worry about changing them off for street use, I can run roll cage and not worry about legalities and basically run whatever setup I want... Ahh but will I get to use it as much as I want considering the money that has been spent (I dont want to break it) and the distance between me and a track, then the associated costs of getting it there and paying for the days... Maybe we should make our own track, yes I jest... so that limits you to tracks which are 4hours away which means minimal use of a car you've taken so much effort to modify...
  11. isnt 10K a bit overboard for a non-competitive dedicated track car, definitely not average mans track car expenditure surely, some people might even say they bought the entire track dedicated car for 10K...
  12. Looks nice, what skirts are they? Im guesisng explosive front bar?
  13. good turbo needs new home...
  14. Are these new or used? Have they been fitted or painted? Any photos? Where were they purchased from?
  15. oh cool I made the right choice with the 2835 then with the earlier power range, which is what Im after.... I cant wait... but geez the 3076 really does have some mid range doesnt it... oh well... thanks btw..
  16. so how about seeing the HKS 2835 ProS or the HKS 3037 on there... how many power curves can you fit on there before it becomes hard to read.
  17. take coil packs out clean em like you would anything else but I wouldnt dunk them in water... wet rag will do it... I dont know about WD40, does that stuff actually dry?, its an oil, and when it heats up in there wouldnt it like bake on somewhat? Im just guessin... to clean the valley, I used an alloy acid and a scrubbing brush/toothbrush, just use some old spark plugs to fill the holes whilst cleaning, then wash the acid stuff out, I wish I could remember the name, its pink stuff and burns after alittle while on your skin but damn it cleans alloy great... that way there is no oils or grease crap left there and it looks like new... just dont get it on paintwork obviously or anything else for that matter... Ive done this a few times, I get a little over meticulous when I start to clean... it can take days sometimes...
  18. Im not in any rush to sell and Im pretty firm on the price as its pretty cheap as it is... I am already selling it at a loss as we all do with parts we sell
  19. Turbo is in good condition, was used for about 15,000Ks then removed for a different setup, comes with wastegate and exhaust side studs. I'll also give you an exhaust side flange, it has never been used, its not a HKS item and was not laser cut, but it will be fine to use. Located on the Central Coast, NSW. $1500
  20. Just so you all know, I got a reply from Ian CEO at superlap saying its a no alcohol event (unless your in the VIP room and paying at the bar) and no bbqs allowed unless they are electric....
  21. So does this mean performance houses like PAC performance for instance are wrong by installing (as part of a build) a BOV on their own and their cuastomers cars, therse guys have been doing it a fair while now, I reckon they know how to make cars go fast and keep them going fast.
