  3. praise the son of rajab.... I've been hanging for this one... It will have to be in the new year though... Great goin Steve....
  4. Yeah how track noob friendly will this day be..? Sounds good though, decent drivers to get pointers off and the chance to do Oran...
  5. I was considering it... see if I wake up in time...
  6. oh please let me know how you go with this one... I so can't find any decent painters on the coast as yet... I've tried three and I had to take the parts back to them to fix up the problems, maybe I'm just picky but a thrumb print on a bonnet is not nitpicking.
  7. yep no primer required, but do clean the pieces really well and prepsol them for the best result. I've done cam covers, rotors & calipers all without primer and they've held up well... Though be sure to sure heat resistant paint for cam covers as well...
  8. I drilled two new holes in the bottom of the plate and they got covered by the black surround on the plastic plate cover, got it out of the way of the intercooler area and looks neater...
  9. um what, increase power?
  10. yep it is a 32 front on a cefi, even says by his own confession that it was sloppy fitting as the bonnet doesn't align quite right... Why don't you find out who owns it and email him the question....
  11. I've had no troubles with cleaning brake dust off my rims since I stopped using bendix ultimates, it might be just coincidence though. Use tar remover and polish the heck out of them, but if they're pitted it will be quite hard.
  12. Let us now where you find the sump baffles? or are you just getting some fab'd up? When you run the drain from catch can to sump where exactly on the sump does it goto?
  13. This why I mentioned the night spot courtesy van I saw as they had heaps of underbody neons in blue, yes in NSW driving around at night... If he can do so can I, I reckons....
  14. Whats wrong with the standard fuel rail? Tell me why is high mount better?
  15. that looks good... it seems not as agressive in those pics as I imagined. What side skirts do you have on? they're a bit different.
  16. I just saw a Black van like small bus that had neons, it was a nightspot shuttle for Doyles on the Central Coast... blue neons. So if he can do it and not get pulled over???
  17. Decide on a date... I'm keen to get out and about in my 33.. I'll be good...
  18. I would just drive with them on, maybe on a particularly favourite road, late at night or very early in the morning...
  19. You can get them at all the usual crappy autoparts places eg. autobarn... Do some research first to see what the decent brands are... Do the install yourself, it can't be that hard, or install them and get a sparky to do the wiring, make sure you have a in cabin switch so you can turn them on & off. And then post pictures of the finished look... I can't believe it, this threads been up for almost 4hours and no flaming as yet... thats a record surely...
  20. Oh no heaven forbid a car with rims that don't have enough 'dish' for the youngsters... I think the rims look fine, they look like zig5en rims... decent lightweight rims.
  21. I found the redline helped, a noticeable difference at least, I would not go near vmx80...
  22. Be Brave, Be Different...
  23. umm it wasn't sarcasm at all... I reckon go the vinyls... its not 'ricer' its 'stylised', please don't cheapen it... yes I design and produce vinyls...
  24. I would go powder coat or go to a coating specialist, craved on here does powder coating and his stuff looks real good.... But do goto a good rim repairer, the guy I know on the Central Coast is great, if he can't repair it he don't charge you...
  25. chances are that when you do find em they'll need a freshen up anyways so buy em cheap and fix em up and coat em... then they will be basically brand new and cheaper than new ones... $200 to spin all four and get rid of gutter rash $240 to powder coat all four (or so one person said he got em done for) I paid $500 to get strip & coat my sparcos and I paid $300 for the rims so all up $1000 for brand new lightweight racing rims, thats cheap as... oh plus $80 for new black alloy nuts... Go try and find decent rims brand new for under $2200, good luck...
