  1. i'm 19 and got quoted $1600 for a 33 gts-t in melbourne (just cars)
  2. I sorta had trouble following that last thread
  3. I saw a private sale ad for a 93 r33 gtst manual with 78,000 clicks. it has rwc 12 months rego and apart from exhaust, alloys and air filter, its stock. goin for $13,850.
  4. I got a quote from just cars. They said they would insure it for me. But when i asked them about the high powered car issue, they told me that it was up to us to inform them that it is illegal to drive and 'if' they found out it was high powered, they would not cover a claim. Also, i got quoted a premium of 1,650 as a 20 year old which isn't bad.
  5. Yeh, i think i'd be looking at a 93 model with relatively low k's and im not really confident when it comes to importing so it will probably be a private sale.
  6. If you got busted with a 33 gts-t on your p's in vic, what are the penalties (And yes, ive checked vic roads and i couldnt find anything)
  7. lol, thanks for the replies, ill start searching
  8. Hey every1, this is my first post. I've been into fords for a long time and know alot about them but i've realised how expensive they are to make fast compared to skylines and how skylines are much better in handling, fuel efficiency etc.. I'm thinking of getting an r-33 cause i've always liked the shape and either a gts or gts-t. Because I know practically nothing about skylines, i need your help. Firstly, what kind of performance figures would you expect from the gts/gts-t. Also, between the automatic and manual transmissions, is there much loss of power through the automatic drivetrain compared to the manual? Thanks, and any other noob tips for me would be greatly appreciated.
