yeah definately if tint a car is saying its legal and they sold it to you knowing you need to get the car checked than they should re-tint it with some "legal" tints

well i know in nsw the gauges cant be mounted higher than the highest point of the instrument cluster, so it looks like hes willing to let you keep the bottom 2 and take the top one off, what do you need all those gauges for anyway? from your photo, i find it hard to even be able to read what the top gauge is showing

yeah thanks for the advice guys, ill know what pressure limits to stick to when testing, i think anything above 38psi should be a big no no

what you looked at was for a supercharger kit, they are known to be expensive. look at the turbo kit http://www.turbo-kits.com/rx-8_turbo_kits.html theres one for $4K suppose to be 260rwhp

ignuz dont u have a drill you just need to drill two small holes and screw the number plate on using two screws, 5 min job, if you havent got a drill borrow of a neighbour, i wouldnt let that set you back from driving your car

the coin holder is handy when you know ur need to pay a toll, just get the coin out and put it in the holder, saves digging into your wallet when your at the toll gates

i dont know if any of u guys driven on pittwater road on the northern beaches, this long stretch of road is a piece of crap filled with potholes, and uneven patches of repairs. majority of it is not even tarmac! its slabs of concrete sealed together with tar, so if you got some stiff suspension your be bouncing in your seat for a few km's. i drive the backstreets just to avoid that crappy road

having the induction noise is the whole point of getting the pod filter.. pefromance wise i find it wouldnt be any better than the standard box running a k&n panel filter

depends on the car really, if its been really well looked after and serviced on time and it had the major 100,000km service done than you should be fine, definately go for a test drive and get it properly checked out by a mechanic

well for some reason my car idles like crap when running vortex, when i put optimax in it runs fine, never try ultimate though, ultimate is suppose to cost a bit more than vortex and optimax
