  1. slow ride, how did they steal it? Like were they going for a test drive and just never came back?? if you can provide with some details, come in handy for other people thats selling their cars. if they did it to you they prob have done this kinda shit before
  2. nope doesnt work, my ones a panasonic and its a factory installed one, panasonic only makes the sat nav for japan, no australian maps and plus the sat navs all jap.
  3. i think you should get it imported, although there is a few selling privately, not sure if its selling in WA. try www.aussiecarcompliance.com.au hes got two R34's coming in and hes shipped a few skylines to WA before
  4. i think the whole "shaken" thing is to make sure all the cars on the road are fairly new and any cars older than 10 years are kept off the roads, because it will cost an arm and a leg to keep it on the road. compare to nsw where you can basically registered any car any age so longs its still got 4 wheels and it can start and stop. No emissions test no safety tests, theres always a dodgee mechanic that will give you a pink slip for 40 bucks.
  5. sounds good, i think ill head to the hardware store and pick up some of the aluminium stuff, i dont trust the wood, specially when it rains, wood wil eventually detoriate and your have half your number plate hanging off the front
  6. i got the yellow ones, and its overlapping quite a bit, i think if i cut them they are gonna stand out too much as there wouldnt be enough room to draw a black outline,
  7. Hey i was wandering where you can purchase number plate spacers for my S2 skyline, the number plate is too big to fit into the front bumper, ive bent the plate but it kinda looks crap. how did you guys made it fit?
  8. i dont think its insurance, its getting it registered again when its done over 40K or something like that, cost alot more to get the car re-registered.
  9. if the belt wasnt put on correctly or the wrong size, than it will cause it to brake,
  10. Is the fuel gauge always on as in when you take your keys out it should still show you how much fuel is in the tank? I noticed my gauge still shows the amount of fuel left even when i take the car keys out. Quite odd as all the cars ive driven the fuel gauge will drop below the empty mark when you take the keys out.
  11. isnt it the opposite, when you have a family you gota sell the GTR and get yourself a family sedan wagon van etc? not purchase a GTR? i guess your kids will thank you when they get a bit older and know what a cool car their parents drive
  12. is it that easy to wind it back??? wont you end up stuffing the odometer up?
  13. Surely if you can afford the car you can afford the insurance. seems the GTR's are the most targeted for thefts, damn this car is nice, really clean looking
  14. its the R32 GTR's that has dropped in price, the R33 havent dropped i guess they are alot more rare, they werent that popular when they came out well not as much as the R32's. Maybe wait a few more years, i know the R33 GTST has dropped heaps use to remember a series 1 use to go for around $25k 3 years back, now can be had for under $15k.
  15. how much are the NGK o2 sensors???
  16. $200 is not that bad seeing that the O2 sensors doesnt really need to get replaced every year what price should you be paying for??
  17. Traction control is the button on top that is labeled TCS, intercooler water spray?? scramble boost?
  18. yeah ill be looking around the 13 - 14k mark, afterall this is a car yard not a private sale, so its gonna be hard to take the price any lower, but you never know, 18.5k is a joke you can pick up nice R33 series II for that, its nice that it has leather but its not worth an extra 4 grand. i guess its a 93 model R32, so paying 13- 14k is reasonable
  19. lol, you were generous to let him have a drive! i had to get some touch up paint as well the other day, front bumper scraping every driveway i go onto, damn gota get it raised. That paint colour doesnt come in the brush form only in cans, had to settle for another nissan white .
  20. thats pretty sweet ride for that price, i got an auto gtst, all my mates pay me out as well but at the end of the day im happy with it and thats all it matters.
  21. Heres mine its got Tein coilovers 17inch rims, the wheel guards are hiding about an inch of the tyre, its not the best height to have it at, as it scrapes every driveway i drive over
  22. are you looking for some touchup paint already primordial?
  23. nissky arent u running the standard bridgestones that joel put on them? why the heck would the tyres be sticky, wouldnt it be better if they were sticky, more grip, "dont kill yourself" why the hell do all cops think we're gonna kill ourselves driving a skyline. I think the skyline is alot safer than someone driving a rusted old piece of crap that will fall apart if it gets in an accident. Ive seen plenty of those on the road every day.
  24. well the SLIP i think is talking about your LSD, is TRC traction control? do R34's come with traction control?
  25. yep most of the cars has done 70k but alot of that is pretty much in stop start traffic, so most of the cars you get does not have alot of mileage but most of them would have had a hard life grinding away in traffic jams. although i do notice alot of the S15's for sale in japan has at least over 90k on the clock and most of those were 99 models so i presume alot of those has been drifted and thrashed around the race tracks in japan for most of its life.
