there will be a slight drop in signal level but would not affect the quality, well not that your be able to tell by human ears. shouldnt matter if its the front or rear channels if your using it on a mono block amp purely for bass,

the current setup is the best, as the boot will reflect and amplify the bass back into the cabin, you can test it out, have it facing towards the cabin and see what you think. Generally i would only face it into the cabin if the front of the sub will be exposed into the cabin area. For punchy bass its really depends on the brand of the sub and also the enclosure you got, for a punchier bass use a smaller box than the recommended box size, for a louder boomier bass, a larger than recommended box size is used. and ofcourse a good quality sub/amp is required if you want good bass, generally the pioneer/alpine/mtx range is very decent

seems like the battery, its not even putting out 12 volts, a well charged battery should be putting out 12.5 - 13 volts my car made the same noise when the battery went dead from not being driven...i think its some sort of protection to stop you from killing your starter motor.

well i take my car to get serviced at superior automotive in mona vale, they seem to do a decent job of it, however they are not cheap either, if you want a good workshop for your skyline, you gota head out west, bel garage, unique, MRT advan etc etc

hahaha ok than note taken! i think they are a fairly small company, when i submitted my online quote, i got a call from this guy that does the quotes and he said he wont give me a written quote for the insurance cover, he just wants me to pay the $1360 with my credit card over the phone, send cheque out or direct deposit into their bank acct, seems kinda dodgee, and he said hes the only person that does the quotes for the company, when he was doing my quote he asked me how much JustCars has quoted me, i told him its around $1600 and a few seconds later he gives me the figure above, seems like he just took a few hundred off the justcars quote

nah i dont have a bad driving record, im on max NCB already, i just got a quote from famous insurance for $1360 with $1500 excess which sounds pretty good, but im not sure how easy they are to deal with when you need to do a claim, anyone got any experiences dealing with famous?

i just called shannons, they quoted me $3k for full comp lol, thats almost double of justcars i dont know how yours end up cheaper Daniel. plus i also live on the northern beaches syd, its known to be quiet a safe area

Its that time of the year again to renew my car insurance, i got my renew letter from JustCar and was quoted $1595 for full comp which is no difference to last years, i was thinking of switching over to young and cool insurance, is anyone with them? or know people who has dealt with them before? they seem like a really small company and i had a look on their website, one section that put me off is the fact that if you ever need to do a claim you have to mail the claim form to them, you cant do it over the phone or on the net. Is there any other companies i can try? I noticed on shannons you have to be over 25 to insure with them, since when i try to do an online quote and as soon as i put my age in it tells me they cannot insure me. Im 24 btw cheers
