  1. theres a guy selling hes R33 series II in for sale section for like $7000, un-registrable as its imported for track use pretty cheap
  2. the look of an R33 sedan and coupe is too different, the sedan looks more like a latemodel camry and really conservative in the looks department. They even changed the tail lights! thats what make a skyline look good the r32 and r34 sedans pretty much look like their coupe counterparts except with 4 doors, i would go for a 4 door R32 or R34, stay away from the R33 sedans, and plus the manual R33 GTST sedans are extremely rare, the ones ive seen are all auto.

    Too Low?

well i find the shell ones are really good, maybe its just my area, they dont really have a driveway, its flat with the road, so you just drive into it, very nice
  4. probably some little shits taking the car for a joy ride, i live on the northern beaches, ill keep an eye out for them, theres not many skylines here so when there is one on the road it really stands out
  5. well ive had my auto R33 GTST for 6 months now and its been pretty good, good as in, if you push pedal to floor it lets the engine rev right out to redline, maybe its the ecu thats controlling that...i dont know, i know alota auto boxes on other cars refuse to let the engine even go near the reline mark. but the auto box in the skyline is quite happy to do it. gear changes are very smooth but it can be hard to stick to 70km mark as the turbo tends to want to make you accelerate and if you let go of the pedal you slow down too much.
  6. u had done two oil changes and still using the same oil filter, damn!
  7. mmm i dont think steering wheels weigh 40 - 50kg even with the airbag you want weight reduction, take out the back seats, remove spare wheel/jack etc from boot, remove stereo, change wheels to forged racing wheels. and maybe go on a diet and shed a few kilos yourself, every little bit helps
  8. if you look close enough i think theres a gap of 2mm between the ground and the bar now thats low
  9. the glass will just add un-neccessary weight to the car, shouldnt you be trying to shed kilos of the car to make it go faster instead of making it slower
  10. Do anyone know if there are any good tuning shops or mechanics that know their way around a skyline? ive searched everywhere seems most of them know alot about their V8's but give them a import and they got no idea how it works.
  11. the bad earth sounds like the culprit, check all the wiring and check for any rust on connections

    Topgear: 2007 Gt-r

im predicting its gonna be at least a 6 figure price tag on this baby. its gonna be in a class of its own if australia gets it
  13. i thought that type of engine went in the early R32 GTS? not in a 96 model R33 series II
  14. could be the material, the front bar is prob made from fibreglass hence its cheaper, and the lip might be carbon fibre or something else that is alot stronger so it can withstand scraping and hitting any curbs or gutters, something that small if they made it outa fibreglass, if u scraped it going up a driveway the lip will just break to pieces
  15. the m-spec ones look awesome, i want one for my car, anyone wants to sell theres pm me! because i want it
  16. damn at first i thought your talking about me, my number plates start with AI, and no it wasnt me, i dont even know where crestwood is, plus i never go to carwashes, i just wash it at home
  17. and is there anything wrong with R33's? shows they are extremely popular with aussies, bang for your buck
  18. dont australia have the most skylines in the world apart from japan,
  19. yeah 3000rpm when turbo kicks in, in the wet your rear ends gonna go sideways, always happens so when taking off in wet try hard not to let turbo come on at all. thats why good ol' auto tranny has a button call snow, forces the car to take off like a snail.
  20. hahaha stalling 20 times, why not just rip it out and replace it with the stock one.
  21. its in the boot for a reason, not just to look good
  22. i would definately go for a corolla, 80's model, i think the 85 and earlier were rear wheel driven as well, those 4A engines can take quite a flogging and quite economical.
  23. drain that oil out now and put some good quality full synthetic oil in there, Your need something of 5w30 or something similar to that, motul turbolite, castrol magnatec a few brands to consider, dont buy cheap oil, your end up damaging your engine
  24. nice can see you got the gtr front bar and gtr side skirts, rims are very nice suits the colour of your car. ill prob recommend getting a GTR rear spoiler just to finish the kit off, nice colour
  25. as stated im looking for a nismo front lip like the one on the following photo: will pay top dollars for one
