  8. LESSONS LEARNT ON GARNISH CHALLENGE II Front numberplates are essential on Mt. Nebo. Learner drivers are not easily intimidated. Mt. Mee should be renamed to Mt. Manure. The 31 guys aren't slow. Autos cut fully gay skids. Everyone wants a widebody Sileighty. 4Doorz can go fast with only 3 wheels on the ground. Taking it easy is a figment of your imagination. Kilcoy is famous for Skylines. Gold Coasters are faster. Great day guys. Bring on Garnish Challenge III !!!!

$400 sounds fair to me Josh. Like I said, the rubber is minimal... Your in Noosa? We can probably organise to meet halfway to save on postage costs if ya want... I'll send you a PM...

    Wheels

I have 4 stock 33 GTST wheels with minimal rubber in good condition... How much do you want to pay? I was gunna keep em as drag/drift wheels but I guess I'd get rid of em for the right price. And keep em for the wrong price...
  11. I'll be nice... Standard gap on the RB25 is 1.1mm. Not sure if the Neo is different. I suspect not. The specs for a tune up (including spark plug gap) should be listed on a sticker on the underside of your bonnet. Most people here (including me) run a 0.8mm gap... Seems to eliminate some hesitation through the revs when running higher than standard boost. I suspect it is also good for coil longevity... Most people here (including me) will tell you not to gap iridium or platinum plugs as you will remove the thin coating of this exclusive material and turn your $20 plugs into $3 copper plugs. Most people here (including me) will tell you you can order plugs with a specific gap but you would be silly to not check it... I suspect you would lose a lot of the benefits of the expensive plugs by running a small gap... For the record, I run coppers (BCPR6ES) and change them with the oil (every 5000). HTH
  12. Ohhhhh, I'm so coming now....
  13. Maybe the forum administrator could instate a "Cruise Rating" similar to the "Trader Rating" in the for sale sections. This way we can give negative feedback for those people who don't show up for a cruise... /me runs and hides before Prank sees this...
  14. Go to www.toymods.org.au They'll point ya in the right direction... Bout $2500 for st185 celica GT4 1/2 cut at rolins (www.japparts.com.au)... Fitting cost??? depends on whos doing the work....
  15. Theres plenty of sileighty's and onevia's up here on the coast...
  16. Craved: The point I was trying to make was, as Jay said, racing around suburban streets is not a good idea in any car. But I agree that the consequences you may find yourself in on the road are usually going to be far better in a shitter than a skyline.... I have also been in situations where the power and handling of the skyline have saved my butt. Pfft, my shitter eats WRX's for breakfast anyway....
  17. And people actually buy them? For around AU$70000? And drive em on the streets? It's a crazy world....
  18. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  19. OMG! Please don't tell me thats an S15...
  20. The solution is simple... Don't buy a rooted skyline. Do your research, get the car checked by someone in the know, learn as much as you can about cars and general maintanence and don't rush in. I waited 18 months before I found exactly what I was looking for. I've had my car for over 12 months now and haven't had a single problem other than having to machine the brakes and I knew I'd have to do that when I bought the car. I probably could have found a skyline for a bit cheaper than I paid but like they say, you get what you pay for...
  21. Look like E-Type headlights...
  22. Craved: When do you feel you like you have the most control over the car. When you are driving your skyline normally or your shitter at the limit? Roy: FWD cars are fun because they are generally small and "nippy" and don't bite back. Skylines require lots more road and runoff area to enjoy them to their fullest... But their is no way a Pulsar is more fun than a Skyline...
  23. The R33's have 3 channel ABS. Front R, Front L and Rear.
