  11. Thanks Dr... Doesn't sound like it would be too hard to sort out then... Let us know if you find out anything else...
  12. Ooops... got me with the Stagea. Stagea was not sold new in Australia but there are a couple of grey imports here. I think there are less than 10 in the country... But your right. They were AWD.
  13. Go to sleep man! LOL I'll have to double check but I've got a funny feeling that an auto ECU will work fine with a manual gearbox but not vice versa. Don't quote me tho... Is the mechanical side sorted? Ie flexplate swapped for flywheel???
  14. I always use BP Ultimate. Mostly cause it's more widespread and easier to obtain than Optimax up here.... I have used Optimax and apart from the smell, it seemed fine. Do a search, this has been covered b4 I'm sure...
  15. I'd go link over unichip if it came to that...

  19. I have a Silver 4 Door R33 GTS25T. I'll help out for petrol and beer. Just got to remember to put the right liquid in the right hole...
  20. Taken from the sticky e-manage thread in Forced Induction Performance: I've read something about melted coil packs as well. It may have been on the Yahoo e-manage group. I don't think it affects other ECU's (ie Motec). I think it is just an e-manage issue with auto Nissans. So auto Supras should be OK... The Dr knows all about this stuff.... Maybe he can elaborate?
  21. Can anyone elaborate on the limitations of the e-manage when used on an automatic series 1 r33 gts25t. I have read that you cannot use the ignition control harness on automatic Nissans. Why is this so? Will this be fixed by Greddy in the future? I assume it is still possible to control the afm and injectors successfully. If the ignition control remains unusable on an auto, would an exhaust cam timing wheel offer some benefit?
  22. Shane: Yep... easy as. I did mine all myself and I am not a sparky... Mine is a HKS TT too so it can definitely be done. This is how I had it explained to me... the alarm senses ignition voltage to decide if it can arm. the turbo timer supplies voltage to the ignition lead. thus the alarm can't be armed with the timer activated. install a normally closed relay in the alarm's voltage sense lead. the relay is switched by the turbo timer's ignition lead. when the timer comes on and supplies voltage to the ignition, the relay is opened. the alarm ignition sense lead is isolated from the ignition lead. thus the alarm is fooled into thinking the car is not running. It is really simple. You need a normally closed or changeover relay. You will have a ignition sense wire going to your alarm. Cut it in half and connect it to pins 30 and 87 (or whichever pin is normally closed). Your HKS TT will have a green and yellow wire coming out which usually join together at the 4-3pin adaptor. Seperate the Yellow wire from the Green wire and join it to pin 86. Pin 85 goes to ground.. Your mileage may differ... Specifications subject to change without notice...
  23. Marine shops are good for custom cables as they make them all the time as steering and throttle cables for outboard motors.... HTH
  24. You need to add a normally closed relay which is triggered when the turbo timer starts. It should open the ignition sense circuit of the alarm. So... when you switch the car on, the alarm can sense the ignition. When you switch the car off, the turbo timer kicks in and opens the ignition sense circuit. The alarm thinks the car is off but the timer is still running. You can now arm your alarm with the engine running on turbo timer...
