have a bit of a weird question. i'm in adelaide and trying to find some miniature bearings that are 1x3x1mm, that is: 1mm centre diametre, 3mm outer and 1mm thick. they are pretty much the smallest bearings around. i need 2 for a small project and can only seem to get them from the U.S. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance craig

pull apart the black box, you may break it a little, and you will find one of the solders on the circuit board has failed. get hold of a soldering iron and some solder and re solder the loose connection. test it b4 you put it back together. should solve that problem. very common. happened to me. only soldered once in my life and i managed to do it easily. hope that helps you out mate.

Anybody Ordered Rims Off Tempetyres Sydney Before?
igota33 replied to nitsua's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
i dealt with them (through tyre power in adelaide). they are USELESS. rims didn't get here on time, sent commodore offset for the front, skyline rears. pay a little more and get em from someone else. tyre power hooked me up with some locknuts and better tyres for the hassle. don't use tempe. they are SH*T. -
sealed batteries should be just that, sealed, no breather hose. because your battery is in your boot, the build up of gas from an unsealed battery in there can explode when ignited hence the need for a completely sealed battery.

see if you can contact wrxhoon. was selling brand new gel-cell batteries (which you need) that were odyssey equivalents at half the price. my battery was rooted, got one from him and have never looked back. can leave my stereo on for hours. cranks over like it's brand new. easy to install. got one for a mate as well. they were around $160 from memory. do a search. you will find many happy customers.

have a mate that is currently modding his ls1. intake and exhaust with extractors got 200rwkw which is what most get. another $1000 this week for ls1edit and a tune and the tuner reckons up to 250rwkw. if you want 300, i reckon you need cam at least. 200rwkw vt calais auto vs. 200rwkw r33 manual (me) and i walk all over him at any speed apart from the launch. throw in some curves and at the first corner he can't even see my rear end. you'll be surprised what torque RB25's produce. i've got close on 500nM with stock turbo, injectors and pump. r34gtt 300rwkw manual would, in my opinion, kill an auto 300rwkw ls1. weight is the killer!

as the title states, got my car dynoed again and was wondering what you skyline professionals think. running standard turbo, fuel pump and injectors (which should now all be upgraded) as well as standard turbo. 3" turbo back exhaust eboost2 running 14p.s.i. pod fmic forgies metal head gasket pfc looking into getting a high flowed gcg turbo soon but think pump and injectors need urgent upgrading. thanks in advance for your comments

Wtb - R33 S1 Driver's Window Autowinder Control Box.
igota33 replied to Sciby's topic in Wanted to Buy
out of curiosity, are you wanting to buy a new one cos your window is not working now. if so, pull apart the black box, you may break it a little, and you will find one of the solders on the circuit board has failed. get hold of a soldering iron and some solder and re solder the loose connection. test it b4 you put it back together. should solve that problem. very common. happened to me. only soldered once in my life and i managed to do it easily. hope that helps you out mate. -

Ferrari is an added bonus, now can they please get porsche. i like ruf but i want licensed porsche aswell. what do you think? anything else you want in the new game? DAMAGE!!!!!!! is it finally here. one key area that was lacking in my opinion. best driving game ever. i'd like to think so.

Just ordered a set of front slotted discs for my 33gtst in the group buy of rda rotors. want to change the pads at the same time and would like to know which pads everyone is using and why? pro's con's etc. looking at bendix, endless, ferodo etc etc. saw a group buy for nismo s-tune pads on ns.com a while back aswell. group buy pads would be wild. anyone want to organise one? will be used mainly for street and hill driving. thanks in advance fellas craig

had exactly the same problem. take off your drivers door trim. you'll see a small black box with wires going into it. unplug it and take it out. take it apart (you may have to break it a little). there will be a solder on the inside that has failed. get a soldering iron and add some new solder to the problem area. it WILL fix your problem. test it first then put the box back together, tape it up with some electrical tape and put your trim back on. no worries. common problem.
-
i broke mine a little bit to open it but who cares, you don't see it anyway. wrap it in a bit of electrical tape once you've soldered up the problem and bob's ya uncle. that WILL be your problem, no doubt about it.

there's only one coking i know about, sniff sniff. is that you charlie......

got mine in the mail the other week. these batteries are good. i had my stereo on for a few hours the other night. started no problem. they have 600+cca from memory and was easy to boot mount in my 33. like everyone said, turn the clamps sideways, no worries. Jerry was heaps helpful and product arrived when stated, would recommend him to anyone. go on. buy a battery. you know you want it.

i've got a similar problem. injectors maxing out high in the rev range, need new pump, injectors and fuel pressure regulator. i've heard some bad things about walbro (poor flow) and the bosch ones are supposed to be good but noisy. was thinking gtr pump? supposed to handle bigger power figures. don't know what power they max out at? you can get bosch 040 for $210 and 044 for $250 on this forum. from memory the tomei one is twice that. too many decisions. anyone have suggestions from real world testing and experiences? what injectors? what pressure regulator? what pump?

Review: Fitted Strut Brace Today
igota33 replied to MANWHOR3's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
that's what i was thinking. i've seen some around the $100 mark and go up from there but they all look very similar. didn't know if different construction methods were used, different thickness metal etc. for a low priced suspension mod (comparing to a full set of coil overs), i think it's definately worth it at this stage. thanks for your input mate.
