  1. had a problem with car pinging on deceleration. just had a power fc installed and tuned on a dyno. i've had a look at my tps (throttle position sensor) and noticed it has a blank plug connected to it and 3 wires coming out underneath it. is this normal or should the plug on the side of it be connected to something. i think the computer is having trouble with the amount of fuel to put into the motor after heavy boost thus car is leaning out cos it doesn't know where the throotle is at. any ideas?

  3. this is my first post, i'm a bit of a newbie, so bare with me. i've recently purchased a r33 gtst and have done some work to it. i've got forged pistons, tomei metal head gasket, fully balanced bottom end, power fc, e-boost 2 at 9,12 & 14.5psi, front mount, air filter, bov, 3" exhaust with standard turbo (only for another month or so) and am putting out 213.7kw at the wheels (dyno dynamics shootout). my problem occured tonight after about 1/2 an hour of driving. under hard braking, i observed what i think is an oil starvation sort of problem. my knock sensor picked up a signal too. it sounded like a mettalic pinging sound. car seems fine and only occurs under hard braking. oil light flashed for about a second and everything was normal again. anyone heard of a similar problem? i'm thinking of fitting a bigger sump to increase oil capacity. are r33's known for oil problems? all help is appreciated.
