Thanks Issy, isn't really that low, previous cars have been much lower, is actually quite user friendly with no scrapes so far, although i am thinking of getting it lowered a bit more.

2nd for sure, hot and very original. I was so impressed with your original GTR bonnet conversion that i did my own aswell. Found a perfect factory look bonnet seal which mates East Bear mole with GTR bonnet, let me know if you need some.

Hi, the bar your after is a Nissan factory option Aero bar, Call Joanne at powerplay imports, this is where i brought mine from and im pretty sure they had another one in stock. Just washed her for the first time since bonnet conversion, painted the red S silver and took some pics.

The last time i went to the car wash, took my own bucket and sponge, was faster than the guy before me and the guy next to me yet some loser behind me had a go at me saying that the car wash was'nt making enough money out of me.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone, have provided all the info on this conversion in the Skyline and specific discusion section. The best thing about fitting a Nissan factory option front bar is that there is no need for a trial fit, therefore you save $$ on the fitting. Thinking of fitting Carbon Ganador mirrors and a low Nomuken style rear Carbon boot spoiler to finish it off. Would really love a set of charcoal Volk 18" GT-C's or Nismo GT3"s.

Just picked up my baby from the painters after completeing the GTR bonnet conversion.

Finally finished and sooooo happy. I received the top mole about 2 months ago but after a quick trial fit and some painting i discovered that i had been sent the wrong one (are very similar). Had been sent the mole to suit the Aero front bar instead of the mole to suit the standard front bar. Thankfully Powerplay realy stepped up to the plate and offered me an Aero bar at a very good price (thanks Jo). I also purchased the East bear lower lip and had the whole lot painted and fitted by David and Sean at Speedway fibreglass in Montrose Vic who's work is second to none ( also did my skirts and rear pods). Very happy with the finished look as i believe it looks pretty unique and stands out from the crowd. The only problem i have now is the seal between the bonnet and the mole, i purchased an original GTR seal but have found that its not realy suitable with the aftermaket mole. The solution that i found was at Clark rubber, a section of rubber shaped like a "p" which i can hopefully glue in place. The big question is, what does everyone think of my completed GTR bonnet conversion?

I have just fitted an R34 GTR bonnet and the above mentioned parts and prices are correct, only took an hour and a half to fit. The only tricky part is that the lower hole on the GTR bonnet catch support needs to be drilled about 10mm higher to line up with its mounting hole. East bear sell two types of moles (fills gap between GTR bonnet and bumper) one for std bumper and one for Aero bumper. So to be perfectly clear, if you just want a GTR bonnet, you do NOT need GTR front bumper and gaurds.

The lower lip is an East Bear item which attaches to East Bears own custom narrower GTR front bar for GT and GTT R34 Skylines. If anyone is interested in this item they should contact Joanne at Powerplay Imports on 02 9819 7055 as it was sent to me by Mistake. Here is a pic of the bar and lip.

Would be possible, front fits pretty good but the side would require some custom work. The biggest problem is that you have less than 100mm clearance at the bottom.

Yes it's East Bear and the quality is second to none, bolts straight on to East Bears GTR style ( for GT and GTT ) Front Bar. Could be fitted straight on to GT and GTT style bars with a little custom work at the sides.

Looks awesome, top choice, R34 Impul front bar would have to be one of the best looking after maket bars around.
