When I did an exhaust header a few years back, I used corrugated heater hose. Try and get it in a diameter thats as close to the real thing. My 2c worth!

Im running 10W 40 redline in a standard R33, did find it interesting that after doing about 5500 kms oil pressure is not as healthy and stable as it was (at higher engine temps) . Its goin to be an expensive thing to run though cause its clocked that in just under 3 months of running. Was goin to do the change over the weekend.

There are quite a few people that can drive a Formula 1 car with micheal's pace, but i can only think of a couple that have the capacity to think like he does. I hated him for what he did to Hill in 94, but grew to become a huge fan with the years that followed. I think its hard to compare drivers of different era's but you'd be a fool to think they get much better than he was. I consider myself extremely lucky to have met the man on 2 ocassions.

recalls are part n parcel of the auto industry, its a big deal to get a car right.. N the 1 Billion dollar spend has been distributed in alot of new manufacturing processes, that gives holden some sort of foundation to compete with other markets as well. So dont go thinking they spent a billion just developing the VE. All fun n games.

Life has a way of getting even, just thank your lucky stars that the two of you are well. It could have been a very bad story all for a stone chip. Your a very lucky man, how many 15 month olds can boast at their 21'st, 'I was sideways on a public road in an R33'....

Arranged marriages...good son of rajab! He needs to reverse that emotional black mail thats probably goin on from his mom. Put it back onto her, id say do anything to buy some time and then work on breaking that line of thought. Although its gona mean help from other family members, cause with most of these cases its all about ..' what will the other people say when they find out u've married someone outside our religion?'

Strange but Aus post were not keen on playing. There are a heap of different courier companies though and as far as online quotes go they range from about 40 to 90 odd dollars. I was looking at couriers please & fastway couriers. Let me know if your still interested. -

Hi simon to answer your questions: The rules state that tread depth should be no less than 1.5mm at any point on the tread normally in contact with the road surface. Going by that statement i would not clasify them as road worthy cause 5 mm from either edge the tread depth as stated in the picture is probably 1mm. The noise is a combination of the tread pattern, the wear pattern and the width of the tyre. All of these factors workin together make them noisy. Im in the south eastern part of Melbourne. Cheers. -

Hey Luk, Unfortunately its the world we live in...One thing that you could try is making an effort of changing your focus further up the road. That way you dont have to merge last minute, if u ever do defensive driver training there is a big focus on little things like this. My 2 cent worth..

This has been covered before in other posts but if anyone missed it, CBC (consolidated Bearing company) do a timing belt kit for R33's. Has the Gates Racing belt and tensioner/idler assemblies - ready to bolt on and they run NSK bearings. Costs about 315.00 When you do this id be doing waterpump/thermostat as well.

Thanks people, yes i know the work rims do kinda complete it. Gives it a very different attitude. Apart from a little attention to the LHS & RHS rear quaters, its very clean for a 10 yr old car. I was really excited/nervous as i drove up to see her for the first time, kinda like goin on a blind date id imagine!

Hi just wanted to introduce myself, im Shiraz. New to the skylines Australia scene, just imported my 96 R33 Gtst which gets registered on the 24'th. Went through the whole importing process with a little help from a few people on these forums and it was made easy dealing with a gentleman like Mark hocking. These are some snaps taken by him before the car left japan. Look forward to interacting with you guys in the comming months.
