hey everyone, just need a rough idea of what happened to my engine. i was driving home and it suddenly sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders, i just made it home and noticed when i accelerate, shit loads of white smoke come out of the exhaust (so much i couldnt see out the rear window lol). it eventually sounded worse and worse then wouldnt start. when i did a compression test, all cylinders had good compression except number 4. number 6 spark plug had oil all over it and coolant spurts out of the chamber when cranking. theres no coolant in any other chamber except #6. the oil on the dipstick isnt milky and very clean. any ideas of what happened and how much to fix will be greatly appreciated!! thanks heaps!

try getting your injectors cleaned and see if it makes any difference, my r32 was doing the same thing - drives fine idles shit, when i got the injectors cleaned it fixed it. could also be the coolant temp sensor, the car thinks its cold all the time so its always running rich, might be worth changing, theyre pretty cheap.

just wanted to ask how easy/difficult it was to lower my r32. i got tein ha's in it at the moment, but was just wondering if it was a matter of just winding them down or do i have to get a camber kit, etc, put in also. its got 19's on it and i want it pretty low so any opinions or advice would be much appriciatted!

sup everyone, i heard that series 5 rx7 injectors fit into an rb20, just wondering if anyone knows if thats true and what size they are (500cc?). also if any other injectors fit in? thanks in advance!

hey everyone. has anyone got any ideas as to why my car is idling funny. cold, it idles fine, but when hot after driving, it dosent idle smoothly (750-950). car drives fine, just has rough idle. thought it might be dirty injectors so i put in some trade quality injector cleaner but that made no difference. any opinions much appriciatted!!

hey everyone, i got the oppotunity to pick up a good rb25 with box for a real cheap price, but was wondering how hard it is to fit into my r32. is it a straight swap or do the mounts have to be modified? one guy said it cost 7000 all up to do the conversion in his r32, does this sound about right? i have all the rb25 electrics (loom, computer, coils, etc). any help much appriciated!

hey everyone, im after a set of ( new or 2nd hand) height adjustable coilovers for my r32 gtst. the set of teins on it now a stuffed.

hey everyone, theres a strange knocking sound (like metal on metal) coming from my left hand side front suspension. it sounds like something is loose or metal on metal when i go over bumps. ive had a mechanic look at it and he said nothings loose, the wheel bearing and ball joint is fine. the mechanic said the shock may be botteming out whatever that means. its been to a suspension shop recently for a suspension check and they also said everythings good. so its been to 2 places and both say nothings loose etc, but it really dosent sound right as the noise is fairly loud and is only coming from that side. personally i think it may be the shock as the HA coilovers are pretty old but anyone elses ideas and opinions would be greatly appreciatted. thanks.

my 32 had the exact same problem. all i did is top up the power steering fluid and now its fine.

hey everyone. i need advice and ideas to point me in the right direction. the HICAS light on my dash stays on when i start driving, but randomly goes off 5 to 10 minutes later. any ideas or opinions will be much appreciated. thanks
