What advantage is having a iPad mini instead of a regular headunit? Don't you just use it to play music? It's not like your going to browse or watch videos whilst driving? Maybe using GPS & Maps?

I dont know who the owner is or what he looks like but Two suspicous teenagers in baseball caps, parked the car from 50m from where it normally is going through the car, then 1 goes to run away and the car took off fast. Could be nothing could be a stolen car who knows
