Engine appears to be fine. This was 4-6 months of driving at 110-130c oil temps, including lots of cruises & thrashings in the summer. She's been been a tough little motor! Yup stock water gauge is crap, my car was boiling over and it still pointed to the middle... Have gotten an aftermarket water & oil gauge since.

Highly likely. Did you notice your water/oil temps being higher than normal? That's what happened to me, Oil temps to 110-130c for 4 months. Then one day my radiator exploded with the water in the engine boiling for about 15minutes. R34GTT stock radiator is like 15mm so very thin

I'm guessing so, this was from the ticket inspectors who said they will send it to the Traffic department or something. I'm assuming its going to be $300. Might try and write a letter to get it remitted pending on what sort of fine I get in the mail. I thought it was just police that could do this, so I'll remember for next time to just run from them lol
