  1. You should see Moh's actual daily FB posts. Pretty sure all emo related.
  2. Thanks Scotty, Will give that a go. I recently had my coolant flushed and changed about 4 months ago @ Sabbadin Automotive so would have thought it should be ok. But yeah sounds plausible! Im not that mechanically minded so will get a friend to help me out with it
  3. That will be one of the diagnostics I will run when I get the chance. But the oil temp gauge seems to have been fairly accurate in the last 5 years and hasn't been erratic. But thanks will definitely check it, but I have a feeling the gauge is ok
  4. Hi Guys, I'm trying to find out why my car is running higher than normal oil temps. Cruising on the freeway in will go to 110c Going on a mountain run it may hit 120-130c. I've never noticed it go up this high until the last few months. After speaking to another R34 GTT owner on the weekend his temps were about 90c on freeway and 100c on a hard mountain run. Which seem about normal. R34 GTT Mods: Turbo back exhaust Nistune HDI Intercooler (Lightly sprayed black with a thin coat) Walbro fuel pump Boost T @ 12psi 150,000km 200rwkw I use Motul 8100 5w 40. Recently did a oil and filter change with no change in temps. Coolant recently flushed and at appropiate level. Water temps hard to tell with factory gauge as always sits in the middle. Rather than going down the route of a thicker oil or oil cooler, I would rather like to find the source of the problem rather than mask it. Any thoughts or input appreciated.

  14. If you can get your car towed just go to Trent @ Chequered tuning I'd say. He does all the tuning for Stao so he'd be familiar with them.
