Not taking into the fact the monies you receive back and that some weddings can turn into a profit. Some people lose sight of the fact that spending more doesn't equal a more enjoyable wedding. Alot of the time in the bigger weddings the bride and groom are stressing on the day as there is so much co-ordinarily going on and by the end there just 'glad' it's over. Anyway each to their own, if you have the money then why not. In saying that it is probably expected of me to have a massive wedding, but i would prefer a simple one.
