  1. Cheers scmate! Yeah fingers crossed its a dry day. Otherwise ill be in the 1:50's all day
  2. Reading through the regs Do we need to supply our our car number stickers or do we get given them like the WRX days? Haven't attended an AROCA day before Also do I need to do anything with these rules? Headlights, fog lights etc. to be covered by an adhesive film Be fitted with a return spring on each throttle in the event of the throttle linkage becoming detached. Fuel injected cars are exempted from this requirement.
  3. Ill see you brahs on the track soon, jpg
  4. As in Chris from racepace?
  5. Too many excuses Get back on the horse brah
  6. Fair enough! So now that your car is sorted when you coming back to the track?
  7. How do the shockworks coilovers compare the the BC ones? Richo runs BC coilovers, seems to be good enough for him at the track
  8. Or come down to one of the SAU VIC Track events and just get him to drive at the track for a few laps
  9. Interesting about the height of the car and SK Comments I've read that too and discussed it with Richo once as his car was quite low last year I think his theory was something along the lines of it would probably work if your were into touring cars and riding every single high bump then maybe too low isn't good? Me no know, maybe Richo will read this post But being low seems to work for Richo Interesting Yeah was rubbing on the outside of the tyre hitting the middle of the guard im pretty sure
  10. I'd be curious to see how you go with fitting 9.5's at the front with a 265 tyre. At the track I had a 8.5inch +35 offset on a 245/40 tyre and it was still hitting the guard on tight bumpy corners. Out of curiousity what tyres will you be running? In any case I'm planning on going a 9.5inch + 22 offset rim + a 25/30mm hubcentric spacer at the front 265/35 tyre (AD08 or AD08R) ill just get some GTR guards to make it fit!
  11. Richo who is prepping his car for the WTAC and other time attack events runs the biggest tyres he can on all 4 corners. He runs 285's on all four in his lil R33 Gts-t
  12. Yeah they are a bit sexiest Take some pictures in the neighbours bedroom windows for us Marty
  13. Haha Artz Didn't know he was a troll
  14. Not sure but apparently the stock GTT radiators were only 14mm thick about half the size of the R33 ones New radiator definately working a crap load better keeping temps under control Can't remember did it quite a few years ago But would have been ~ $700 - $800 including the hardware and instalation and tuning costs
  15. I should put some on my daily civic
  16. Yeah e85 is on the cards sometime in the future See ya at Sandown next Sunday, you might see me in the slower group Oh haha yeah thanks to Artz and GtScotT i think you guys also mentioned that the turbo is likely to be the issue And other guys who genuinely tried to help with their 2 cents As such here ya go!
  17. Yeah Im still contemplating what to do. After 6 months of the car off the road I just want to enjoy it for a bit lol Can't say I want to spend a day changing the turbo so soon after finally having the car on the road I will just track the car as is for my event at Sandown next Sunday and short shift at 6,000 rpm to keep the motor and turbo happy. But yes your help is always appreciated
  18. So to sum up tonight Advice was sought from another reputable tuner of what the issue was. He said that his initial impression was that it was the turbo, a test was done in accordance with the tuner to see if his theory was correct. I won't go into details of the test as this is not my area of expertise and i will just explain it wrong. So case closed end of story, 2 experienced tuners and 1 experienced engine builder have reached the same conclusion that it is the turbo and that is the limiting factor on my setup. The original intention of my post was to share my results and to see peoples opinions on what was going wrong. Now that we have found the answer I think its time to have tea scones and some Cadbury favourite chocolates. In saying all this I still think the ss2 is a great turbo and hypergear does a great job
  19. Or was it because she's fiesty Simon likes dem rough girls
  20. Two? Theres the daughter and whos the other one?
  21. Can confirm this is true
  22. Fair point GTSboy Would have been ideal to use a ss2 compressor map and I actually asked for the ss2 compressor map, but as there wasn't one Stao said to use the Gt3076 compressor map Haha
  23. You've been reading too much Hypergear thread today Send an email to: [email protected] Say your from SAU VIC and he'll look after you
