I estimate that the engine will be finished with everything back in the car in about a month. Then another month sorting out the VIV (As the car was written off) and Road Worthy Certificate. We might have some issues with the engine gaskets. As we were supplied with a ACL Rb25det gasket kit not a neo one. Even though we were assured it would fit. I already know the plenum gasket is different, among a few other things as well. Anyone know where to get them quicksmart? Apart from getting them via Nissan or Japan? I can get a full genuine Neo engine gasket kit from Amayama for ~$350. But its a 3 week wait and I would get a whole bunch of other gaskets I don't need. Edit: Just emailed Andrew from Kudos to help me out

My mate at JDM Garage is doing the engine rebuild. In regards to the torque plate, its a bit over my head but after some discussions involving the actual benefits of a torque plate we decided not to go with it. The theories were quite interesting..
