Found out that my AAC valve was totally stuffed from the sand blasting, was completely full of sand, no wonder it wasnt working . Now she idles perfectly i just have to wear her in and then she'll be ready for a dyno tune .

LOL not quite havent adjusted the bonnet yet, thats all i have left to do it clicks in one notch, so i think ill either put spacers and rase the rear of the bonnet up or cut the bonnet supports off to clear the plenum, i have scrapped the bonnet scoop idea as i want to keep the car as stock looking as possible! Where abouts are you located, your welcome to come and have a look or when i get some decent pics up ill send them your way.

Hi guys just finished my 25/30 conversion, car idles fine on cold start then once she warms up idles less them 400rpm any ideas why?? Then when driving her she stalls when i stop, at idle, i think she is running a bit too lean, i do have a pfc and a hand controller but im not sure how to change the idle, afm or injector duty cycle, should i do this or leave it to an expert? My specs are as follows r32 GTS4 rb25 non vtec head 3L rb30 bottom end, pfc, gtr fuel pump, stock afm, gt3540 turbo, tial 44 external wastegate, stock injectors and tb etc.

By the way anyone is SA who wants to come have a look while she is still in the air is welcome just drop me a pm, im in my final steps just bolted dump/front pipe with flex in, turbo and adaptor plate is on, just hooking up oil/water lines and putting wastgate on

Ok thanks SydneyKid ill try that if they do end up floatin . Any one know what the diff ratio and gearbox ratio are for a GTS4?? Is it the same as Gtr?

Rb30det/tt Gtr Conversion Thread
FORZA-MOTORSPORT replied to rev210's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
All you have to do is bolt your gearbox on then drill through in the sump extension, the bottom 4 bolt holes this will make new bolt holes for the bottom 4 then stick a thread in them and your . We used the vl gearbox which we figured out is different to the Gtr one after as the bolt holes didnt line up, doesnt matter if it comes to it just bolt the top ones up, dont worry about the bottom ones . -
Rb30det/tt Gtr Conversion Thread

Yes, what we did with mine was to attach the gearbox to the block and re-drill into the sump extension, either that or just bolt up the top bolts dont worry about the bottom ones -
LOL , how many black r32 rb25/30's r there in adelaide??

Having just finished my 25/30 conversion and having to modify the exhaust side to suit a bigger turbo and external wastegate, i have decided to make a few more systems if people are interested to bolt straight onto your stock r32,r33 exhaust manifold with the 25/30 engine. This will be an adaptor plate which allows a bigger turbo t04 or gt3540 to sit lower, looking stock as well as clearing everything while also enabling the use of an external wastegate. Now i can offer these adaptor plates which cost me $200 to make in all stainless steel as thats what they cost me to make, also if people are interested i can make the adaptor plate and dump/ front in one with a tial 44mm external wastegate all attached so all that would have to be done is a turbo bolted on, let me know what you guys think i have attached some pics below.

These are ideal if you are wanting to upgrade you turbo and run an external wastegate without changing your exhaust manifold, i have used one of these on my rb25/30 conversion and also an r33 skyline as can be seen in the pics above. For $200 they are a very cheap altenative to getting a custom or aftermarket manifold made instead, the r33 with this setup has 240rwkw with a t04 turbo.
