  2. LOL not yet, if get defected i will
  3. Intersting, im gonna test not running a bov on my rb30, having to build boost back up after changing gears seems like a huge waste to me
  4. Just fitted front facing plenum, what a nitemare, even check out my new clutch master cylinder to compensate for plenum size , now bonnet does close , all thats left to do is the final wiring for injectors, z32 and apexi ebc then ill crank 20psi and see what she can push at all 4 wheels!
  5. I had exactly the same problem with my Sard 800cc twin spray injectors, will be modifiying clips hopefully later this week , yer i thought they were supposed be a straight fit, obviously not...
  6. Nice setup mate!! Good effort! By the way guys RB30det and RB30DOHC are now up check the vented coil pack cover link in my sig!
  7. I went down to Xtreme the other day and had a technician look and drive my car, the clutch doesnt slip there is no problem there, he says the problem is because of the 1500kg pressure plate clamp load it squashes the clutch plate onto the flywheel, which leaves pieces of the cermaic plates imbedded in the flywheel. Apparently this happens with most of the drift cars and all they do is make sure they cool down the clutch by not stopping after giving it lots of stick and changing gears, well thats what he said anyway, not that i gave mine any stick before that happened so that doesnt make sense to me. All i know is i paid for a good clutch that i can't even use, how can i launch my car with a problem like this and if i dont it defeats the purpose of me having 4wd anyway... Xtreme have to use such a heavy pressure plate (1500kg) as they only use a single plate where as the nismo and other clutches use a twin plate and dont require such a heavy pressure plate say (1000kg) and so they dont have the issues, well thats wat i was told!
  8. Heres my 1990 r32 gts4 2 door, now has a 3L twin cam rb30 in her, i call her the gtr eater
  9. I have an extreme gtr extra extra heavy duty cermaic 1500kg clutch kit on my gts4 with an rb25/30 engine, i have noticed quite a few times on launching at 4,000rpm that the peddle seems to bite as it is fully engaged i.e wen the peddle is pushed all the way to the floor and following this makes a grinding noise when taking off in first gear and letting out whilst changing into second gear, now this noise tends to go away with about 2min of driving. Its like the clutch is ripping chucks out of the flywheel or the flywheel chucks out of the ceramic clutch?I have around 200rwkw at the moment just running stock boost, now tonight i launched her at 4,000rpm and she got stuck in first gear, the clutch wouldnt engage at all, infact i was straight changing which was very hard, had to start with the car turned off in first gear and try changing gears, then it fixed up what the hell is going on i have only done 6,000km with this clutch and it is nothing but a worry waiting to happen has anyone else experienced these problems??
  10. Pm Sent
  11. Send me pm cheers
  12. Hi there mate the gts4 actually weights more then the gtr as it doesnt have an alloy bonnet or gaurds like the gtr , so this makes it the heavy weight champion welcome to my world, you will need some good brakes to stop her thats for sure, why are you contemplating changing from the 4wd setup, when you can practically bolt an rb26dett straight in!
  13. Check you dipstick colour and under your oil cap, if they are milky then you have a headgasket leak, is the car running on 6 cylinders or is it idling like it has a slight cam? Also check the bubbles in the top of tha radiator wen u rev her like sydney said, is she getting hot?
  14. I have an R32 rb25 de head on an rb30 bottom end my rb25/30 combo motor currently in my gts4 and am changing intake manifold to front facing plenum hence i need the gasket and more importantly i need the inlet gasket to match port the manifold too as the manifold has smaller ports being from an rb20det.
  15. People have suggested using ultra blue copper gasket maker on the inlet manifold to head, as its gonna take 2 weeks for a new gasket to arrive, has anyone else used this with a 20-25pound boost application will it hold??
  16. Hmm not for my 25pound boost application LOL, id rather make sure it seals perfectly! But cheers for the tip anyway...
  17. Yer nissan said 2weeks wait as it has to come from japan any other options?
  18. Interesting think ill be making a phone call, yes i didnt think a genuine manifold would be left unfinished, but not to worry im taking the step out and the rough slag on the inside of the tb, wouldnt want that going into the motor!
  19. Likewise Seriously those guys have no idea!
  20. Hi guys anyone know where to get an Intake Manifold Gasket For R32 Rb25 De??
  21. Anyone have an intake manifold gasket for r32 rb25 de??
  22. It came from japan and is a jun plenum, bigger then greddy etc, needs a bit of work on the inside of the tb flange needs a clean up, also the runners and i need to take the ports out to suit my head as they are for an rb20det and my r32 rb25de ports on my head are much bigger, all up cost was $1400 for plenum and 800cc sard twin spray injectors, not bad eh
  23. Some new bits and pieces for my rb25/30, now i can close my bonnet and crank the boost! Quick question while we are at it i noticed the 800cc sard injectors dont sit in as far as the stock injectors will this cause any problems spray wise?
