Nissan RB20DET long motor (head > sump) Ideal for building that performance engine you've always wanted! Build this over time then swap yours over in a weekend! The engine is in excellent condition, except needs a bore/hone. Recently had new timing belt and water pump and all exhaust studs replaced. Includes Genuine Nissan gaskets and seals (worth $300) ready to put back together. Just bore/hone/acid bath the block buy some pistons and put it together. Cool. I thought early RB25 were hydraulic but a company selling springs said otherwise...so I thought id check before ordering some new springs.

I need to know a bit about RB25 valve train. As far as I know R32 and R33 RB25 versions are hydraulic and valve springs interchangable and the NEO is different, maybe solid lifter type? Correct?! Matt

I have no idea how many kilometers... No more shaft play than normal. I didnt make 250rwkw as I have std injectors and a small fuel pump, Would make this with a RB25 and proper fuel system. They are rated at 440hp.

What ACL race series pistons were these? ACL told me the normal ACL pistons are hyperutectic ones pretty much like the 'ACL race series' (non forged im talking about) Would it be ok to have these and maybe get the tops coated if chasing 250rwkw?

I think it was 4000, I never really checked! Depends which gear you're in. Pulls all the way to 8000. It is a little bit laggier than a standard RB20 turbo but that is expected because of the bigger exhaust housing. It made a massive difference in power! Yes, will fit RB25's too.

Sorry, i've been in Melbourne. Its fully stripped, tanked, bored/honed. New conrod and main bearings- clearances checked. Genuine Nissan parts used. Complete long motor except exhaust side. If it doesn't sell i will fit it back in my car and use it until my RB30DET is ready.
