  1. My missus is doing 4th year Elec Eng, she sees heaps of skylines around uni.
  2. Hey all, Went and saw Tripod last night at the town hall and they were absolutely awesome. Going to see Danny Bhoy tomorrow. Anyone else get to see any shows this year? What did you think? -G.
  3. I remember a thread about Jet being hospitalised but fark!
  4. Clubbing/recruiting sounds like a plan!
  5. Hehehe. This thread is a pisser.
  6. If you did get a hold of some lights you could just sit them on top with rubber pads and hook them up via an external power supply. Or just get the old-school magnetic single blue light and stick it on top...

Forget about those .05W units, they're useless! I "bought" the 1.5W unit from Jaycar for the G.O.R cruise and it was about the minimum you'd want. Also, Jaycar have a 7-day refund policy if you know what I mean.
  8. Speaking of banners, what's going on it? Is there something already? I have a few photo ideas that I have been meaning to try out with a proper panoramic camera.
  9. I think the logo should ultimately... * Symbolise Skylines Australia or SAU * Have some reference to a Skyline (stylised round lights are popular) * Able to have Victoria (and other states) added or removed from it easily. * Be able to printed in a single colour and still be recognisable -G.
  10. That's a top idea! Frame the t-shirt front-on with signatures of all the SAU MAS crew.
  11. As discussed, I've made up a couple of ROUGH thankyou plaque things for the Fox Car Collection people which can fit in to an A4/8x10/8x12 frame. What do you think? Any ideas? -Greg.
  12. Actually, it's really easy but I like Shan's answer better.
  13. Finally finished scanning 50 photos, all of them are in my previous threads. BTW - Adz, I wasn't happy with any of the photos of your car - too dark.
  14. Ash, put me down for 2 people.
  15. Still a bit too bogan for me. They need to class up those ads a bit before I head down here.
  16. I didn't use a tripod for any shots, they were all handheld. I was using a slow, rear-curtain flash which exposes the picture for the ambient light and flashes the subject (at around 1/840th second) keeping the subject clear. That and the camera weighs a few kilos so hand-held shake is lot less noticable.
  17. Did you notice they've actually noted DRIFTING this year?
  18. It's just too black I guess... I should have one somewhere.
