  1. Hey guys, Does anyone know where I can find any info these? From what I gather they're a pretty sweet ride. I'm trying to decide between an R34 4-door or a Chaser as my next car.
  2. Japaenese parking permits/tickets...and the flare.
  3. I'm in. Ready when you are. Does anyone have any idea how long they take to fit? Is it something that's pretty straight forward?
  4. Get those dyno results up as soon as you can. This all sounds quite interesting...
  5. Where can you get those bodykits? I like em.

    new post

As I was driving home on the Eastern the other night I thought the cop chopper was tailing me... then I noticed an Accent with some ridiculous exhaust in front of me, droning like you wouldn't believe.
  8. I take my car to M.I. (Mirror Image) Automotive in Bulleen. The owner, Arthur, knows his Skyline's (he has his demo R33 out the front most days) and chucks the car on the dyno for a run every service for good measure!
  9. Targa? If you kept the old bits...
  10. Hey guys, Has anyone got these wheels yet? Or know much about them? I need new wheels but the 4-stud range is poor - apparently I can get these to fit.
  11. Max, Bad Day! Typical Monday morning on my way to work, not concentrating enough... then when I get to work I lost my keys down the lift shaft. The girl who was driving the BMW went to my school!
  12. I ran up the back of an old BMW on Monday...$600.

    Series 1 or 2?

    When was it built?
  14. NA_R33, I have no idea! Unless someone's put an NA engine in a turbo body? I got those details off some site on the net a while back - so I don't know how accurate it is.
  15. Max! No! Ah well buddy, I went through this with my first car - big accident no comprehensive insurance. I ended up selling the wreck and starting again (with a Skyline though!). Good luck with whatever you decide on doing.
  16. All the N/A 33s have 4-stud wheels, apart from the rare few who have had a conversion to 5. Standard wheels were 15 (probably x 6.) Wheels that fit the Silvia/180sx don't automatically fit the Skyline, and the selection from what I have seen is really poor. Hence, after over a year I still haven't found new wheels. However, the ROH Drift Rs seems to be the pick.
  17. You could always get an N/A Skyline... they're not that bad!
  18. Isn't 3rd gear just the best? Not sure about the turbos but on the N/A the speedo needle lines up with the tacho and it pulls nice from 40-140.
  19. I believe it's a designation of the engine/driveline type... ER33 - 2.5L N/A ECR33 - 2.5L Turbo HR33 - 2.0L N/A ENR33 - 2.5L N/A 4WD BCNR33- GTR
  20. I have 2 airbags, and both seats have the plug hanging out. So are my airbags even going to function in an accident?
  21. I scored a couple of Jap parking permits/tickets in my sun visor pocket. Haven't checked the door...
  22. Wouldn't we all love to claim it? Unfortunately it is only claimable if you have to drive around "for work purposes" eg. call-outs, onsite work, so it doesn't include travel to and from. If you are lucky enough to claim it, you can claim per km (to include all on-road costs) - I believe the going rate is around 66c per km according to the ATO.

    Demerit Points

There's no difference between demerit points for P-platers or Full licence holders (in Victoria). Everyone has 12 over a 3-year rolling period. However, if you exceed 6 points you get send a courtesy letter in the mail advising this (no penalty). I've never heard of a limit of 6 in 12 months, is this new?
  24. For 100,000 you should be looking around $20K, maybe less if it's stock.
