  1. Sorry, I don't know much about the R32's unit. The R33 unit didn't have any problems with CDs (original, burnt or otherwise).
  2. For the N/A drivers out there: 21yo, 96 GTS, Rating 3, no claims, speeding fines but no suspension. JustCar: $1863 Famous: $1696
  3. All they need is power (splice off the Accessory power) and plug in-line with the current antenna cable. Not a permanent solution though...if you enjoy listening to the radio a lot. It's better to get an Aussie unit. -Greg.
  4. What was your primary reason for buying an N/A Skyline? For me...Insurance.
  5. Sounds good, I've never been on a cruise, and it would be good to meet up with some people off here.
  6. Where did you guys buy your wheels? Everyone I went to (Beaurepaires, Tyrepower, Bob Jane) said that the wheels wouldn't clear the front calipers.

  8. King, You don't necessarily -need- the adaptor if you can manage to rig up your own connector, but it's difficult as the factory connector is 2-pin (for the two antennas) combining two wires in to one.
  9. Well, that's sorted. Looks like I'm not bothering with an air filter with the N/A then, thanks fellas.
  10. Network/Systems Admin for 3 years, plus a little "freelancing" on the side. Jaxe, I took the first MCP exam (Professional) in Jan and working on Server now hope to have that soon.
  11. They're resurfacing the Eastern Fwy, plenty of loose stones flying around this week. -Greg.
  12. Fellas, Who here has an after-market air filter? And what brand? Any reccomendations? -Greg. PS. Any proof that it does help performance?
  13. I used an Aerpro double diversity antenna adaptor which I got from Autobarn, so I guess they stock them as well... I wish I had of known about this earlier, oh well. Here's the page with the wiring harness AP7550: http://www.aerpro.com/cgi-bin/list.cgi?list=harnesses2 And the Nissan Diversity Adaptor AP348A: http://www.aerpro.com/cgi-bin/list.cgi?list=antennas
  14. My speedo only goes up to 180, is my car likely to keep going or just sit there? If it's likely that it will go past 180 I'm totally in. So is it $50? Give me a account to Direct Deposit...
  15. There was only one ROH wheel that would fit my car apparently and it was one of those 3-piece wheels, which I don't particularly fancy. Every shop said that the wheels wouldn't clear the calipers. I was after the Adrenalins but then I noticed everyone else already had them so it didn't matter...

  17. Nismodified, have you got a pic of the wheels? I searched every shop for weeks and ended up giving up. The selection for NA skylines is just so poor. Maybe 5-studs are the only way for me?
  18. Revhead, D'oh! I didn't know there were adaptors available. Can you post the product coding/pricing? I'll add it to the page.
  19. They're on the way... I just have to do the install first. The tray is a current model Pulsar tray from Nissan. Sorry about the size guys, sometimes I take cable for granted. I'll optimise the page better for dialup users tonight. -Greg.
  20. *** UPDATED: New Link (again) *** Hi all, I've just completed a quick guide to installing/replacing the head unit in an R33. Please check it out and let me know any comments or if I've forgotten anything important. http://r33stereo.groovesystems.net I hope someone out there will find this useful. Cheers, Greg.
  21. Hi, I've just installed a new head unit in my car (I've taken photos and documented the whole procedure) and I was wondering what the general consensus is with connecting cut wires? I've always stripped, tinned and connected using terminal blocks, are terminal blocks OK or are there problems associated with using these? I can't stand those little splicing clip things. Thanks, -Greg.
  22. I picked up a current model Pulsar pocket ($25) which fits shmick, even bolts straight in to the factory bracket with the standard screws. ...For an R33 series 2. -Greg.
  23. Pedders? They hooked me up with a front tie-rod same day. Not sure how much you'd be up for. -Greg.
