why are you sure their not ceramic??

It may have been a "dakar" version. They are heaps lighter (no aircon, power windows, etc). I know a guy with one that has run a 12.0 with FMIC, intake, exhaust, boost and a slipping clutch. At the time my GTR had run an 11.9 with FMIC, intake, exhaust, boost. So not a whole lot of difference for the same mods.

If your rear bumper needs cleaning every 2-3 days then it is most definately running rich. My knock generally reaches as high as 30-40 depending on what fuel I have in (we only have 95RON up here). The reason for a higher value than your car is because my car most likely has leaner air/fuel ratios and/or more ignition timing than yours. Not sure about your oil change. Can't imagine it would have made a big difference.

what air/feul ratios are you running? If you don't know then your tuner should be able to tell you. This will give you a good indication as to whether its running too rich or not. As for the knock level on the PFC. The dash warning light comes on at preset value of 60. So in general it should be ok as long as you are below this value. You'll get a diferent opinion from every tuner as to the maximum safe value. My tuner is happy as long as mine stays below 40.

Sounds good! have you got any photos of the install? Is it just a butterfly valve controlled by a cable? How much was it?

I have a GReddy Profec A. Its holds boost perfectly. You just have to make sure you run its learning mode after each time you add mods.

depends what brand your pods are, but it should be pretty easy to remove the air box. I have trust pods with the piping from the pods to the afm's. Takes no time at all to install them.

any pics of the turbos and dump pipes??

what temp gauge is it? oil, water, exhaust?? follow the lines back to the sensor and you may find the problem.

check that your wastegate actuator arm is still connected and has not come loose. This happened to a mate of mine. He had no boost and a noise from the actuator arm rattling around. Should take no time at all to fix if thats the problem.

from my experience, the less restrictive your exhaust is the sooner you will make boost. Therefore the more low down power you will have. The top end goes without saying. so if you aren't worried about noise, the bigger the exhaust the better.

tempe seems to have very good prices, where are they and do they have a website?? RT215's in 255/40/17 for $300 is awesome compared to what i've been quoted up here!

for example, after installing my pfc, Z32 afm's and cam gears, I had trouble with boost spiking and then dropping off at high rpm. After running the learning mode it now once again holds my desired boost level spot on through the entire rev range.

with the GReddy Profec A, its learning mode is used to learn the features of the actuator type, external wastegates, and the stability of the boost curve. There are two learning phases: 1. Learns the stock base boost level 2. Learns the basic boost curve and the difference between the pressure in the wastegate and the pressure in the intake manifold. You need to run the learning mode again after any changes are made to the characteristics of the wastegate spring or the power output of the engine. Not sure about the apexi boost control kit for the pfc, but would assume it is similar.

Just out of interest, how much did you get for the injectors? I am will soon be wanting to sell mine.
