  1. PS I will be the first person taking number plates of idiots, expect police on your door step if play up. Lets not ruin it for others. PPS Lets have a good night and lots of fun. So, enough preaching lets get to business, we may have to do 2 sessions depending on time and availability of the locations, if so, we will find out tonight when people are available for a second one preferably on a saturday or sunday for less traffic for things like the tunnel shots etc... See you there tonight.
  2. Engineered they dont have a choice, not engineered dont even bother.
  3. delete the old one? Oh, I believe I got his schedule wrong, he works Friday day, then saturday night, my apologies
  4. I could stumble my way back to Monash from there.
  5. Its an M113 scorpion varient I think, looks a bit different in red though My old unit had them before they went to ASLAVs when they were in Sydney. They have been used a few times on rampages, one in WA, another in Sydney years ago and one recently, I think ex Nam vets are usually the culprits, but I could be wrong. Poor fellas.
  6. Theres another car in that shot? so hot right now. I didnt realise there were that many people coming. Oh so do I, I loved driving that thing. Ill get another one one day and do it up, but for now, I have two other things to look after.
  7. haha, he didnt take that one, its one of the sales shots from the previous owner.
  8. I drove and gunned these until December last year, so I was in the army. It was over rated most of the time though (Sorry Shawn). In the hanger next door was about 12 Abrams, one of which was the one at the Nats and the formal.
  9. Hence why I reckon we should seperate ourselves from them from the start. ie meet further up the car park and so on.
  10. 62 tons combat layden and it would have been a publicity thing then. They are allowed on roads because they actually have a lesser ground pressure than the old Leopard tanks we had due to a wider track, but are still limited to where they can go. Infact to be qualified to drive one in the army you have to have a certain amount of time driving on a main road.
  11. The tank had to be a personal vehicle. No way would they send a tank up from Victoria for a formal unless they were going to be able to recruit people. (like a recruiting stand) Was it an actually tank or a smaller armoured vehicle? (sorry, i like my armoured vehicles )
  12. I reckon I should be able to make it for once. Count me in
  13. Maybe should meet further up the car park, to seperate. Just meet at the 4runner
  14. Cool, 8pm at the museum it is. We'll be there in a white Toyota 4runner, so i reckon meet at the 4runner then.
  15. If I dont have the datto done by then, can i chuck the troopie on? I wanna see what torque she pulls
  16. I just wanna make sure here, did you guys still want to use Justin? Hes willing to do it on friday night, but he is working the next day 6am, so earlier is better. Ill be coming too
  17. Yeh sorry, when I scrolled down, it looked like Michele had posted it, I only just realised it was you All good
  18. ahh yes, the tunnel , classic. Nice pics
  19. You shittin me? that looks hot.
  20. Sold pending payment.
  21. Damn, car wont be ready, would have been fun to kick a heap skylines
  22. hehe, yeh, or someone could scout it out, but in the end, it would stuff the passengers night if no one would go in there cos of the 5-0. Wihlst my car is engineered, im not gonna even bother cos they will find something to get me with. haha i might even volenteer to work security that night for the function, "going to gaol, going to gaol, going to gaol"
  23. Perhaps, just to clarify, someone could ring up and find out the specifics and if need be, organise that our convoy will be fee free and let alone for that reason. I can understand the defect thing though.
