Hey Guys, A run down of the story Travelling home from work and got defected by the Rosehill highway patrol (if any of you guys are in western sydney im sure some of you would have come across these bunch of Cu$#@#$ !!! Got defected for the below 1 headlight out (electrical problem which has been fixed) BOV (which is plumb back, although the officer stated he was not a mechanic and is putting it down as he see's it, then how can you defect me for it ?? his response was mate the mechanic will need to check that) Exhaust checked for compliance Horn wasn't working (Fixed) Battery not secure (Fixed) POD filter (Fixed) Defect is for a full inspection blue slip Problem is it's a full inspection and im in need of a mechanic who is quite lenient on blue slips etc etc Taking it back to standard is just not worth it, too many non standard parts welded diff to start off with which makes me think a engineering cert may not even help but correct me if im wrong anyone feel free to PM me if they are uncomfortable with posting up names on here

Button was very lucky the last half of the season. He drove well at the start, when the other cars got better he was no where, how many of the last 7 races has he won ? or been in the top 3 ? i dont think many people will remember this yr for the championship or driving, more for FIA and F1 stuff ups with all the politics, new tech, rules and controversy. Bring on next year !!!! Amongst all this button hysteria bernie goin off his nut again lol http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/news...019154900.shtml

I totally agree kimi and alonso at ferrari would have been a dream Kimi is one of my favs he is jus super cool, like doing 300 clicks down the straight, and i doubt his expression will change Oh well good luck kimi n fare well, might see him in rally one day, hope so ive started to appreciate alonso the past 2 yrs, he has tamed himself i think its due to being in a team which was pretty much useless with flavio in charge, although he was a funny character that flavio loll bring on 2010 !! can't wait going to be interesting.

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
JUN`R32 replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
R32 GTS-T Falken Ziex 235/45/R17 Did not like these one bit, cheap at $170 per wheel Front end was bouncing all over the road, not much grip on the rears at all in the wet or dry. I had some fun times running these on the rear while they turned to slicks lol i strongly do not advise !!! Wet 4/10 Dry 5/10 Toyo T1R's Ohh baby ive had these on the rears for around 1yr and they still have meat left on em, and still grip quite well Wet 8/10 Dry 9/10 Next tire is going to be the Toyo R1R's on rear at 245/45/R17 in the coming weeks. While i rotate those bad boy T1R's to the front @ 235/45/R17 -

Guys n Gals I currently have a R32 GTS-T Type M ECU is a std R32 ECU remapped by JUN. Im thinking of changing to a stand alone ECU, a Power FC if i can source one. Im in 2 minds weather to change it or just leave the std ecu. My question is In terms of getting more performance from the girl a stand alone ecu is on the money, what other options would there be without switching to stand alone ecu. Just after your opinions, as im currently weighing up the options. Cheers

Full Monty Clutch Jim Berry
JUN`R32 replied to JUN`R32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
would have been about around 60 - 70,000kms Spoke to jim who advised send it down and he can see how its worn out and what might be causing it, then see if he can add something to correct the issue if its clutch wear. Has been punished a little so might be just wear n tear. If jims clutch lasts for 3 or 4 yrs on a car with a higher HP then mine and more kms drivin then i know definitely its got to be something else on the car or my driving habit. -
Hey guys, Ive had a Jim berry full monty clutch installed in June 07 Has been working like a dream until now. starting to slip, revs run high upto 20 - 30kms and can feel the clutch slipping when applying more acceleration. Car is a daily driver Has not seen any track days Does see some spirited driving. Few 6k dumps Mainly normal driving no crazy 140k shifts I want to know from experience how long these clutches usually last. Any help would be good guys Thanks

Skyline R32 Ls3 Drift Car
JUN`R32 replied to Morten Kiil Finsaas's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
This thing is off the planet !!! The amount of effort alone is worth an applause. Good luck in your drifting comp and with a car which has had soo much time and effort put into it, u deserve to win. I you can get some vids and pics from when your competing in the competition we will love to see it -
Hey All, I am after a standard CAI for a R32 GTS-T If someone has one lying around let me know via Pm. Thanks
-
Summer break sux !!!! We wanna see schumi again, hope he gets a few wins. And with no testing u can guarantee kimi will be testing out some knew strippers loll I would love to see alonso in a ferrari, i think he will do very well. Is it just me or does everyone think piquet is a whinger and sore loser, blaming others and everything else other than looking at himself. From watching him race he seems hopeless makes silly mistakes, he is definitely one driver who should have never been given the opportunity. Taking into account that alonso had more testing and is favoured in a way, still no excuse for slamming into a wall or other drivers. Seems like he had some good contacts and a name, that's about it !!!
