  1. yeah myself and joeyz were expecting to be in there too. was i not sideways enough? geez
  2. does it miss at all or just go slower? could just be coils safc will only help r&r i its set up to do so. rich and retard is the ecus way of protecting the engine from what it deems excessive airflow, and an safc works by bending the airflow meter signal. If you tuned it to be a bit leaner it would be bending the afm voltage away from the r&r limit, but potentially leaning out the engine in the midrange is a bad idea. could even be beneficial to remove the safc if you still have stock turbo
  3. certainly will
  4. dont htink they are big enough to make a difference. there WILL be a difference... but probably not worth the effort. all you will get out of it is a car that idles a bit higher which makes it harder to drive at slow speeds. you would be suprised the difference 100rpm makes down there
  5. so disconnect the ecu, isconnect the bad coil clip, and use the pinout diagram and a multimeter on the contnuity setting to get a simple answer of wether or not the cables get to the other end or not. with ecu and battery off, you can poke wherever you want and cant hurt anything. check that one pin goes to ground, one goes to the battery, and the other will be the trigger for example if there are 3. use a bit of speaker wire or something to go up from the ecu to one of the pins, and then find the other end on the ecu.
  6. 4x now i have seen error 21 keep a car off the road for months with the owner scared to drive it, 4x now i have switched to new coils and its been fine. that being said, if your cylinder is dead completely, it may also be the wiring to that coil
  7. i havent heard how anybody did yet? But this is what you were all supposed to do
  8. ok sounds good to me. let me know please.
  9. i just want to know where to get the paint from these days- look it up on yellowpages.com and its all dulux weathershield. Just wondering if Autopro etc could mix me up a colour if i bring them a petrol cap/paintcode
  10. what car did you have them on? I'm looking for another set of these but the ones on my 33 have nice big spacers which also change to the subaru stud pattern.. assuming you have the spacers too they may be the same? I am in syd tho do you mind organising frieght? thanks
  11. pics? what style is it? interested
  12. anyway.... i plan on coming for a drive
  13. take a few photos to show us what exactly you are up to. I would generally cut and solder rather than put thinkgs apart, but you lose a bit of length
  14. i was a bit putout by people jumping in front- i was the guy struggling to stay awake as iv been very sick and this was my first time out of the house since hospital. I had given up basically and just wanted to go to bed by the time my car got on, and i was thinking the only thing that could happen now is i could blow it up as the motor was so cold. I told him low boost, rev to 7 and see what it does, then went home straight after Its not anyones fault tho/ Adam is great and was trying to give everyone a good rundown of how their car is running and hat takes time. Its annoying when you're waiting but its gold when its your turn.
  15. hey brendan i have an airbox and i think i have a boost solenoid too, unless nytsky still has it. Im only in glenfield if you are still around here somewhere
  16. thats the plan. thanks brad let me know when i can come past and get them.
  17. should be very easy intercooler pipe---> boost controller ---> wastegate everything else, block them up. follow them back to where they come from and block them as short as possible, keeps it tidy and also means you know they werent being used for anything else. factory setup is complex because it plumbs back what it bleeds off
  18. hey Brad, dont have any of the metal intake pipes for the front of the compressors do you? I think i need a front one at least to do my piping how i want it. cheers
  19. metal inlet pipes for turbos inlet rubber pipes still available? And feel like frieghting to syd?
  20. im screwed i have galandular fever. if i feel ok i will go, as i am on the list, but right now its looking like probably not
  21. the fan on the front is for the air con core, which is what its mounted to. the sluggish response is fron the skyhigh inlet temps, not your water temps which are probably still fine. you running pods or airbox?
  22. front bar and wing are standard series 1. you have an option grill and skirts, but its all nissan nice colour btw
  23. sounds good. im happy with a similar drive too. hopefully the weather is just as rubbish i liked the fog lol.
