  1. well organise another one already to those interested, us southern people are going karting soon at minto, check the other thread gemma i think im racing this w/e so i will let you know if im not busy but so far not looking good.
  2. In plz!
  3. really good photos guys! i/m actually glad the weather was shitty. It was great driving through the fog on mount ouzley(?) andmount keira roads
  4. is it currently 4 or 5 stud? if 4, you have standard 4 door equipment which is different to the coupe. if 5, it could pretty much be anything. also check for a code on the old pads eg. db1170 is a turbo r33s front brakes and it is often printed on the back of the pads
  5. yay cruise woo nissan good seeing everyone
  6. try and tighten the little bleed nipple a bit more
  7. it wont over heat without, and you can find your leaks easier. You wont damage your timing belt or anything as long as you keep your timing cover on. either screw it back on or take it off altogether its not a necessary thing.
  8. first make sure its the lights not the bonnet, the bonnet is easy to move up or down you just twist the rubbers in or out. if its the lights, hopefully there is a bolt missing or loose somewhere, else your car may be a lil bent
  9. im still planning to be there
  10. sure have. had the clamps in the car when i went to see you guys that day... thats what i was in the area for. seems to hold 1.2 bar no worries so far and sounds different with the new pipework somehow. good different though.
  11. im keen. anyone else?
  12. i will be at the dyno day too. food is cool
  13. 11 it is :PBJ:
  14. your biggest problem is blowby looking at the pics. having two bov's is not damaging anything it just meant the previous owner likes a lil noise. you might find the blitz one is wound up az bit tight to stop it going off in low throttle situations. You could remove it or you could keep it if you like it. removing it wont magically give you 20kw at the wheels or anything
  15. check the little plug near the vent by the clock. as craved said
  16. tail shafts dont rob power or wear out particularly, im assuming its an auto so it is possible the converter is a bit shagged. does it have "no guts" because of the gear it puts itself in, or is it just the motor maybe needs some tlc?
  17. they are a strip light, so it unlikely one is blown but not impossible. has there been any water in there
  18. its got a number on it, just call them up haha seeing its not the factory "please change your timing belt" sticker, i would say if that factory sticker is not sitting next to it, you have saved a few 100 bucks by buying one already changed. you could always change it to be sure, or just take the top cover off and have a look if your keen its not that involved bar the cas
  19. haha dave who taught you that trick
  20. you should have seen me then... it was around that point i was getting towed out in the middle. i went home to weld new intercooler pipes and the black gtr had had his fun too. We were a bit out of our league with the calibra that was there, but the 928 and rx7's were about right if not a bit slow. i was just totting around wasting money not pushing hard enough. only got about 10 laps. hung out with the open wheeler guys all day, they are some great machines and people. We need to NOT be the only two street cars next time lol. was fun anyway i love driving
  21. is it exactly 2 min? sounds like you reset a turbo timer you didnt know you had when you d/c the battery. some alarm systems also have this feature. either way, the steering problem is not linked to your staying-on issue, i would say that you could either go to the trouble of going through the hicas system for problems, or just remove it with a lock bar. check the fuse. depends what model you have as to what sorts of things go wrong
  22. saw them at practice today, the little trd sprinter is killing it so far.
  23. i was running with sam and his gtr in sedans. was great but we left around 1230, i kept blowing cooler hoses so there was no point mucking around. was a bit hot too, winter is over unfortunately
  24. anyone remember what standard the extinguisher has to be/ AS1541.1 or the AS1284 ?? need to pick one up depending on which it is
  25. sounds like a plan! hooray for lunch/dinner. and come tomoro if your majically at home guys. will be the funnest
