  1. please can everyone take into account that he has a gtr?
  2. will be going. anyone have any details etc when scrutineering starts and such?
  3. 11th or so? jess friday is just an l2s practice day, but a few sauers are planning on being there. as far as i know all i will need is a fire extinguisher? willl find out soon enough i guess
  4. good either way haha congratulations i should be able to attend also- the cruise, not the delivery
  5. i'll be at oran this friday maybe, and there is a cruise to wollongong on the 4th. theres lots of stuff happening.. so i will likely break the car again lol so maybe carting is a good idea
  6. 18th works for me too
  7. spring washers arent so good for a dump pipe. once they get hot they can easily lose their "springyness". you are better off with good self locking nuts
  8. if it was my r33, i would have just forgot about it and done the other ones up. Because i did, and it was leak free for 2 years, its on the side with 3 bolts, so meh the other side has 2 only that being said, ive never snapped onein anyone elses car because i would wd40 it early because i remember mine lol. if you still have factory turbo your not really stressing your dump pipe gasket
  9. i would say budget 2k plus an engine
  10. i have a solar panel where the parcel shelf used to be. seems to work i dont drive the thing often and seems to stay charged enough for a month, so it does still drain down but it is helping; if that makes sense. ie if i haven't started it for a month, i fully expect it to kick over, but it does go dead eventually. one issue i found though- when i hadit plugged into the ciggarette lighter socket, it would send power through everything i had wired onto that eg. ebc would buzz. its now on a seperate loop so it doesnt power aything but the battery
  11. hmmb maybe could go on the 19th too
  12. guys i fixed the car- hurry up before i break it again
  13. i get mine from payless tyres anyway lol! assuming the one at ingleburn; they think im good business thanks dave i will take 4 super steels at least.
  14. im interested too! drive past it amost every day anyhoo. let me know when
  15. hi guys! i was an early interest-expressor; and had a ball at the last one. BUT haven't driven the car for 2 months after some problems. i am about to fire up the motor which should be fine but i am still uncertain about the gearbox... anyway i havent paid because i dont know if i can get there yet obviously. I will hopefully be able to confirm on or before friday to make it easier for you, but if i get home and its dark i cant do much basically. hope to see you all there for another great event!
  16. hey guys. was good seeing everyone i will keep a lookout for the next one. might bring like a car too. thanks joeyz for the lift
  17. ANO is also the colour for series 2 r33's (super clear red 2) which is a much brighter colour. you need to get the right year's ANO apparently
  18. if you go to pirtek/enzed and ask, i think you could get out of it for around $2-300 or cheaper if you catch them on a good day.
  19. no worries brad. sat or sun? i want to get some stuff from just jap at some point
  20. for it to go that quick, i would say it was an oil/water starvation problem, or a serious overboost. all you can do is take them off and have a look. hks or your supplier may look after you with a warranty if you can rule out the above
  21. i can come to something if dave rings me lol i may not check the net
  22. im keen. few if us have blown things up, so that hasnt helped. winter is busy
  23. aha... well in that case it would be easier tomove the whole reo forward/back a little bit by elongating or drilling a new hole for the two 14mm bolts on tjhe side. you may end up with a noticeable gap on the sides of the wheelarches, but there is a fair bit of play and stretch in fitting a bar. when you get it in the right spot, screw it in and job done good luck
  24. dave your car spools too loud lol. too bad it doesnt go very fast It was good following you, because i could hear you spool up and knew i had to too. then when we were on th e highway, i heard a truck and thought it was you haha HOWEVER:: the biggest thing i discovered, was that your headlights are ridiculously bright- did rsr get new ones>>? thats why that truck flashed you. I also decided that noise wasnt a turbo honk it was the road. hope you had fun with this build because mine is coming out again soon EDIT: i did 2000km last time, with one dead turbo. i never knew till we turned the wick up and nothing happened
  25. mate your asking a lot of questions lately which is good, but rather than product numbers from nengun or whatever you have given us, you would get a lot more responses if you actually showed a pic or explained what you were talking about. I for one am happy to help, but cbf looking up something for you.
