  1. albert changes his mind more than i change pants. hopefully my money has gone through jess i only did it yezzerday
  2. paid for me only. will ask those who dont regular the thread today
  3. i will put money across now. or you can take it out of brads buy-my-turbo fund
  4. finished yet dave?
  5. i beleive the one on the drivers side is a grey one yes? just below the jumpstart thing? that is a diagnostic port , its not meant to ber connected. green plug- you will find the other end hanging behind the fan shroud area, and its not a big deal. it seems to be unplugged more than its plugged in. maybe they remove radiator for compliance or something. i would look into the noises tho. brakes arent so bad, but whatever the other one is could be more expensive
  6. there was a twin turbo rb20 on these forums in nsw, its do-able but he ended up getting rid of it. its a lot of lag for a little fun. your best bet is a single, but if you 'have' to go twins its not impossible, just a lot of custom work
  7. your better off not altering the wiring if its a street car, or your pump will be running 100% all the time, and this sucks for two reasons: 1- the noise! especially at idle when there is nothing to drown it out 2- the fuel will get hot, you pump so much through but it all comes back to the tank, then goes through the pump again... there are a few old threads about the " hot fuel " problems. i would get a nismo/tomei pump too, as they are sooooooo easy to put in compared to walboro or bosch and are quieter too in my experience
  8. hey dave good luck with everything! Just a thought, a lot of guys building tough 26's use basically all goo except for the head gasket...food for thought and a big congrats on the 740s, was very very easy to tune with on mine compared to the sards on the r34. I have the tomei/nismo pump too and all seems ok so think your fine for fuel for a while. Z32 AFM is fine too, but you could always go haltech instead of powerfc, makes the plumbing a lot easier anyway i wish i had maybe we trial fit my rips plenum while your motors out too. then i can finally decide wether to sell it or not
  9. Well you suck at cruising, you were going the complete opposite way you bam. it was about that time i realised i dont have your fone number lol
  10. cruising a/f is nothing like full throttle, unless you are flat foot 100% of the time, that dyno sheet tells you nothing about fuelling. your car is likely running a bit rich, but othere than the mess its not necessarily a big deal. get someone to drive behinf you and check how much smoke comes out.
  11. was that you jay? at lucas heights? menai lol so are we booked in yet?
  12. aw i dont get invited cause im a dikhed lol wakefield is a long way away to go watch i decided. heading off to dyno day soon see some of you there i hope
  13. actually adve they are gt-ss now, so it surges all the time. i will shove some poncams in and hope it helps. now i have the seat and all it needs to be tracked lol. thanks guys i am decided now, we shall see what happens soon enough
  14. oh god i know of someone else, so two karters here
  15. are 256 etc going to be big enough to help surging for a start? thats my main priority right now, but i have decided to turn it into mainly a track car.
  16. i dont want your motor bard, i just want mine to be the best it can be with these turbos which tomeis? poncams? from what i can see, my options are basically only poncams anyway i want newies
  17. thanks guys looking into it now.. looks like they wont be as lumpy as i want. ahh well now to find the cheapest
  18. jay your such a bam... so gp?? anna definitely come say hi, if you ever have a car problem, you need friends like us lol
  19. hi i have a s1 33 gtst and was wondering what options there are for camshafts, was after around 260 deg or more, but preferably without the need for uprated springs etc. any wisdom appreciated
  20. hey are we cruising to the dyno day or are we splitting up so as not to draw attention to ourselves
  21. yea whatever you guys wanna do. GP thingo looks fine to me, bit extreme/expensive to do an enduro. also i reconmend a bbq of some description hope brad ordered datalogit *shakes fist
  22. when you spend months building a motor that has a lot of custom piping etc, you dont want to spend more time fabbing up something so you can plumb a stupid bov in, you just do the easiest and quickest, trust me
  23. pm your number around phil, we will get you all skylined up. still fighting the good fight i hope
