ignition signal primary, check that the ignition coil harness earth is connected. check cas. an r34 4 door that had this problem needed a new ign coil, put in splitfires and all was fine. try swapping out with someone nearby if they are generous d/c the battery overnight or longer, hopefully will reset the tranny ecu. if the problem comes back straight away, there is definitely something wrong in there. if it comes back after a few min or after a drive etc... maybe try mentioning what you had done with it eg overdrive button etc. gearbox problems could be quite bad for you talk to just jap if you bought it recently enough

i agree, its very similar to what joeys car was doing in your driveway after his turbos went in, but its a bit constant. even if it was the bov, its caused by surging so i dont know why this thread is still going.. i just wanted to see my options and now we have. brad you have pm

they wont be able to tune it without a working turbo, and if it is still running, they will have to retune when you replace it

cool well need to weld the sump, put in new oil and plugs. ebc on the way. maybe next week if your not too full up anyway case closed.. china power is fine lol

current one is a china power trust copy.. when holding speed it just pops off every 2 seconds, works fine under load but yeah its chewing fuel and knocking a bit by screwing with the a/f. spring is as tight as possible, and it still blows off even at about -10pounds of vacum if i take my foot off. the constant surging type thing occurs when trying to hold 70+kmh and continues under light acceleration until the air is chewing the fuel turbos are making. i know i can run it back up through to the intake but it is not acheivable by me at home and i would want to run 2 gtr bov's if i was going to plumb it back in. i was looking at buying a trust type r or something but its a lot of dough when i have 5 bovs sitting here, and was also wondering if there could be a problem with the pressure feed the bov is getting from the manifold

thats great but it is almost impossible to make it plumback in my application, so i was after a short term fix. also i had an hks ssqv for 1 year without problems.

hi was wondering if anyone has attempted to run stock gtr or gtst bov's venting to atmosphere. just did a whole lot of stuff to the car and for simplicity want an atmo bov, but i have a lot of stock ones sitting here doing crap all. if they are ok to run atmo, i will weld those flanges on, but otherwise i have to buy a new bov. turbos are twin gt-ss. any help appreciated
