hey eug, nice to meet you out there today, and everyone else for that matter. Was a great day, one rexy had more serious problems, a few people overheated due to abuse lol and corinns clutch died. a lot of rubber was left on the track by the boys with deeper pockets and i had some good times and some extra fun runs all is good in the skyline world. looking forward to the next day, but we need a new event . i would like to learn to drift maybe they can incorporate that, but i guess you cant time it lol. figure 8 in the middle of the slalom maybe? i dunno. see you all at the next one -

Good Power On Stockish Boost? Possible?
jeffworld2 replied to LatinR33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i had 195 with exhaust and intercooler on 10psi stock turbo. even have the airbox in there. it just happens. maybe its just cars from the south west lol. it was running very rich, but still made a reasonable power curve, with the exception of a massive hole at 6-7krpm. but still 195 lol. since fitted exhaust cam gear, power fc and a few other jazz and with 12psi got 188 at the uas dyno day lol. put bosch 040 in the other day and will tune it again tomorow and see what i get, before fanging it on the skidpan on saturday -
any thoughts on RIPS plenums? i bought one ages ago but im yet to fit it to an engine, as i didnt know if it would fit rb20 or rb25. they were big in nz for a while but i never saw one on here

hi was wondering if anyone had rays fortesst II rims (the tri-spoke), i have a set marked 17x8 +34 and 17x9 +38. they sit on spacers which suit the r33 gtst, and the spacers have a smaller radius stud pattern (5X100?) this makes it hard for me to find rims for track rubber, as i need to remove the spacers aswell to put anything on. if anyone can help, please pm me. after any rims that will fit not necessarily tri spoke or some advice on how to sort it out so i can swap rubber easily

great day, i was dissapointed, and will shove new fuel pump in this week sometime. so many cars... so many numbers. the guy with the ss was funny, we all thought he was a bit off with his projected figure, he said he would be appy with 220, despite only making 250 at the flywheel or so from factory, and he got 240 or so and shut us all up lol. good on him. nice to meet a few more people too. and the sausage sizzle! awesome. i think i had about 5 blew all my cash on food. cyaz

rbs5det neo engines actually have vct on both cams. the rb25det in an r33 has inlet vct only, so we add an adjustable cam gear to play with the exhaust side. Since you have a neo this may mean you wont have much use of any adjustable cam gears. if you lose the vct, it is a bit of work and you will have to pick either a) set adj cam gear for low end response or b) set adj camgear for top end. if thats fine for you, then thats great. if you try and set it for the midrange.. whats the point, it will be a bit off low AND high. Vct is a good thing, keep it until(if) you change cams. it does the work of an adjustable cam gear, but changes while the engine revs out, like vtec yo! if you havent upped the boost yet, then cams should be at the tail end of your mod list. HKS only made about 20 of their vcam units or whatever they were called, and they all ended up in japanese demonstrator cars such as the hks driving performer... you wont find one for sale. they are probably uber expensive if you did manage to find one.

hi. ive recently split with my partner and need a change. im currently earning about 45k working fulltime as an engineer in a hotel, but want to do something different. anything really, but with similar or better pay. my current position has no room to move up through the company, so i need to move. Any industry but preferably not on the tools anymore, but i am used to being flat out everyday so i wouldnt mind at all depending on the work. I really would like to get a less physical kind of job tho and see where i can take it. maybe entry level but with room to grow quickly. i have plumbing, carpentry, electrical, plastering, painting, interior design, lighting design, tiling, cabling etc etc skills. i build hotel rooms basically, as well as caring for the plant equipment etc. for a large sydney city hotel (300+ rooms, 2 restauraunts). i have previous experience in window retrofitting with Sydney Windows, was a bike assembler, designed and built racks for an electroplating firm and a few otehr things. whatever i try i can do. Customer service is a given, i meet a lot of guests in the hotel and they are always pissed off when i enter and happy when i leave, as i can fix anything quickly while having a good conversation. i was also a qualified pool lifeguard. i think my resus has expired but i still have bronze medallion and first aid. also have uni-level chemistry, biology, engineering and mathematics education (3rd year arts/sciences, first year engineering) but quit for financial reasons, the plan was for me to work while my partner was at uni and then swap, but i guess that wont be happening now so im stuck working any help is greatly appreciated. i realise i have few qualifications but i have a lot of experience in a lot of areas. i am a fun young man, who is happy to work hard. wish me luck.

lol used to go there everyday instead of uni- i was a dipshit if you lean back and hit it with the bottom edge of the club, ie not with the face at all, its the same as cricket or baseball. we used to get 20-30 a bucket way over the building on the otherside. when they hit the roof they bounce straight up to an amazing height... good to show the girls lol. im not a big guy but i have played a bit of golf with my dad as a kid aswell as baseball so you should manage it easy. they will probably kick ou out tho, as there are often people over the other side
-
people not letting you in is ok, i can deal with that. but too many people change lanes without blinkers or think they dont need to show you where they are going from the roundabouts... how many times have you waited for a car on your right at a roundabout only to find them turn left and you shouldnt have had to wait... at least they face straight at my finger as they get off the 'bout

Sandwich Plate On Top Of Remote Filter?
jeffworld2 replied to neergnevets's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
yes you can, but it wouldn't be hard to put the sandwich plate on the side of the block anyway. you only have to do it once remember. the closer the sensor is to the pump output the better really, but it cant be that big a difference if the lines are short -
Boost Struggles To Go Past 2psi
jeffworld2 replied to aquariuz6's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just tighten everything, it may not leak under vacum (idle) but will on boost. it sounds pretty bad if its only hitting 2 psi, perhaps your gauge is stuffed or getting a signal from the charcoal canister or something. if it feels slow then obviously this is not the case . even the wastegate should hold it at at least 6 -
i have also heard of the wrong head gasket drama, look into that
-
yeah ctown is harsh. especially ctown road, but they will gladly find you in a petrol station or anything anyway, they dont bother being too sneaky about it

um neither. its off the screen, below the sheds. you drive in past the sheds, turn right at scrutineering (you dont line up, just go paston their left) and head down past the hillclimb things
